I loved the TV series "Firefly" and the movie "Serenity" and I agree with everything in the petition.
Please bring back "Firefly" for the millions who missed out the first time round.

My wife and I fell in love with this series after having seen the movie. We bought the DVDs online the moment we got home. Give this show the run that it deserves.

Cancelling Firefly was the equivalent of cancelling Star Trek back in the '70s - only worse. I'm quite certain that Firefly will go on to have the success that Star Trek has.
Firefly was the best show ever on television. Ever. Cancelling it was the most foolish thing any network has ever done. I can only say that they must be terrified of success over at FOX. Dare I suggest that the series would make serious money even as a only a direct-to-DVD creation?

The show is wonderful, full of heart, drama and action. It has a suspensful plot and characters that are easy to care about and to whom I instantly attached and identified. This a rich and entertaining series. Please bring back this amazing series.
This show is absolutely fantastic. I didnt pay much notice when it was on TV as they didnt seem to sell it to the audience properly in the UK. Its the best Sci fi series for years. 1000 times better than babylon 5 which seem to go on forever. Please bring it back.
I saw the movie, then came across Sci-Fi Channel's replay of the series in November. Outstanding show!!! This is how I view the frontiers of space settlement, like the the frontiers of the old West. Most of the shows concerning outerspace are too antiseptic. Like the first "Aliens" movie, the demeanor of everyday people will not be different whether it's 1870 or 2270. It takes rugged individuals to live life on the outer edges.
