Never watched Firefly until I saw Serenity, then we bought the DVD's. Excellent series, and after the success of the movie any network would be crazy not to pick this series up.
I enjoyed every minute of this show, and I never even heard about it until I saw the Movie Serenity. I bought the DVD set the next day, and loved every minute of every episode. I'd absolutely love to see another season or two, or at least a seqel to the movie.
joss whedon's first seasons of buffy and angel weren't nearly as complex, sophisticated, and as aesthetically pleasing as that of firefly. i'm winning new fans by the dozen by loaning out my dvds. fox wouldn't know a hit if it hit 'em! bring back firefly!
ANy premium channel in their right minds should pick this one up. OFirefly was THE the best Science Fiction series of the last 15 years. The fact that Whedon's mind is not being picked for the next great series baffles me.
I am not a big fan of TV, i've given alot of show a try but few have impressed me. Until firefly. Firefly is the most brilliant show i have ever seen. I walk away from every episode stunned at how amazing it is. Joss whedon has outdone even himself, And that's HARD.
GIVE FIREFLY ANOTHER CHANCE!!!
Somebody needs to give these characters and this universe a fair chance. With Fox giving them the worst time slot and showing them out of order and Universal giving them zero publicity and crappy dvd art it's a wonder there is any fanbase. "The Future is Worth Fighting For."
I did not see Firefly when it was on Fox. The first time I saw it was on SciFi. I was hooked from the first episode. Please revive the series, it is the best thing going.
This is a great series that I watched way back when it was originally on TV and now have the DVD's. Also loved the movie, Serenity, and will buy the DVD when it comes out. However, I would much rather this series was brought back on SciFi network. Lots of us common folk do not have premium channels.
Have only seen a few episodes but I'm already wanting more. I'd love to see what happens to everyone and to have more of Joss' unique vision on screen.
I saw the movie without ever seeing the series, and once I finished watching Serenity, I went and bought the series. I became an addict right then! PLEASE, BRING IT BACK!!!!
