If any network or premium cable channel continues the Firefly line, I will gladly sign up. I own the first season, and have seen Serenity twice in the theatre! *You can't take the sky from me!*
I think it's sad that a show with such potential was never given a proper chance to find a solid fan base. It is only after the show was cancelled that its beauty was uncovered on a more massive scale, and if given another chance, it might find even more fans in the television universe. This show has morals to be told, is funny, heart-wrenching, dramatic, romantic, and just plain good. It has substance beneath its somewhat awkward premise, one that I know many people would enjoy if given the opportunity. Please consider bringing this show back. It would make a lot of present- and future -fans very happy.
Firefly was an awesome series that fox unfairly cancelled. It would be wonderful if any network picked it up becuase it would make so many fans very very happy.

I'm a sixty five year old grandmother of seven, and I think Firefly is the most original TV show I have ever seen on television in the past fifty years.
I watched the show when it was on Fox, and was thrilled when they released the DVD set. I would subscribe to any channel that will pick it up for new episodes.
I don't watch broadcast TV because it is so formulaic and unintelligent. A roommate brought in the firefly DVDs and I made fun of him for days until I watched the pilot episode. I was immediately hooked and plan to go pay full price for the movie soon. This show would be a cash-cow to whoever picks it up and treats it as an asset.
I loved the show so much! It was so disappointing when it got cancelled. I really loved the movie too and it just made me want more! I've been watching the reruns on the SciFi channel and that's in addition to the fact that I have the complete first season on DVD!
I will gladly sign a petition for any show of Joss Whedon, but this one especially was truly unique, hilarious, and moving. And it only had 15 episodes? Give me a break! BRING BACK FIREFLY!
It was a show that treated it`s viewers like adults, not kids that needed every plot point hammered home with a sledgehammer. Please bring it back to TV in a new series.
Please bring Firefly back if even for one season I'm sure it won't let you down espically on DVD sales. It was such a great series and it was killed as so many series are killed by tv executives. Come on HBO you would be the best if you brough Firefly back why not bring back cancelled series if you do you'll get loads of respect from the fan community. So please please bring back Firefly

I love firefly. L-O-V-E. Please bring it back. Since I live in sweden, I wouldn´t be able to watch it on HBO or whatever it´s going to air on, but I would, and I promise this, buy it on DVD the very day it comes out and I would also watch it as soon as it airs on any swedish channel.

I found "Firefly" on DVD after its lamentably brief existence on Fox. Kids and hectic schedules get in the way, like that, but I have found this show to be wonderfully well-written and acted. A set of characters with dialogue and material like this is rare on TV. Everyone bemoans the lack of "quality" TV, then cancels it when it appears. Do us a favor, please, and return "Firefly" to the small screen.
