The show was aired here in Holland very late in the evening and i always jump in right in the middle and therefore never understood what it was about. A few weeks ago a friend of mine gave me the DVD box of Firefly and now i'm hooked. The sad thing is that i only have the movie to look forward to because the series has been cancelled. Please revive this series, it's got passion, heart and soul and that's a rare thing on television nowadays. sincerely Arnoud
It seemed such a shame that this fresh, new and different tv programme was cut short. I sign this petition in the hope that maybe someone will listen to the fans for a change rather than seeing the pound signs.
firefly was one of the best shows to ever hit the tv screen, especially in the scifi arena, it was entertaining, funny and intelligent, something unique nowadays, its life was cut way short, if joss is aloud to carry it on, it will only improve in the same way all his other shows have, go on....give him a second crack at the whip, it could be something very special indeed, especially after the good feedback thats come from the serenity movie and the sales of firefly dvd's, its a goldmine in disguise :p
Firefly is without a doubt the best TV series I have ever seen (and ive seen a hell of a lot). Compelling actors and Characters, Great stories, and flowing action!
We need more Firefly!
Firefly and Serenity are high quality television and film. I will watch and watch again. Please bring Firfly back!!! Just read the critical reviews of both show and movie.
Please give Firefly another chance - not many people may have seen it first time round but everyone I know who has watched the eps in the correct order is totally and utterly hooked
Why this series was ever droped by the network is beyond me. This series was just getting into its groove, and then Wham! Just like that they pull the plug! The devotion from fans just proves "You can't stop the signal"
Incredible series! Why FOX would pull such a creative and well-developed show off the air (not that they did any major marketing for it) is completely absurd. I hope to see "Firefly" back in new episodes someday soon!
Firefly was an amazing show, to say the VERY least. Simply put, Joss Whedon is a genious. Firefly deserves a nother season, and more. I think the fact that it managed to become a big budjet motion pictures speaks for itself
I think this show is great, possibly the best of Joss's shows. The theme of never giving up hope and continuing on, the sense of created family, and it's stories of humanity and human nature are told amazingly well.
Fire Fly was one of the best shows ever made I would love to see both the series and the films contenuie. Fire Fly/ Serenity has such great character development I feel it would do wonderful on a network such as HBO or Showtime. I know I would not only get the network that carries the series I would buy the series as well its just that good. Joss Whedon is a genious!!!
Bring back Firefly! This was a great show! The writing was amazing and the actors are top-notch! Give this amazing little 'show that could' a chance to shine!
