Both Firefly the series and Serenity the movie are excellent. Firefly hasn't aired yet in Belgium (where I live) but I've downlaoded it. Don't worry, I've recently heard the dvd will be released next year and I'll be the first to buy it.I saw Serenity yesterday and it was so cool to see everyone on the BIG screen! I MUST SEE MORE!
Gotta get it back in action! The first 14 episodes were wonderful - way better than "Angel" or "Buffy". I didn't think I'd enjoy the film as much as I did, and then seeing the original series... It just can't be forgotten. Long live "Firefly"!
This is definitely one of the best shows that's been on in a while. I don't even have cable now because most of what's on now is pretty much garbage. This show alone is worth getting a new cable subscription. I would be thrilled if someone picked this up, especially HBO.

Firefly changed the way I thought from when it came out on Sci fi till I die. If you guys dont make new episodes ill be crused. Us browncoat will hold our position. WE WILL HOLD. Browncoats united forever.
Really love the show. Shame the movie isn't doing so good over here in the Netherlands, but there is absolutely no push behind it from the marketing department. Most people have never heard about it. Such a shame.
The series was amazing...watch it and see for yourself. I never saw it when it was on television. Perhaps it wasn't a huge success on T.V. because it was so poorly advertised.
Bought the DVD without even having seen the series, will buy the Serenity DVD. Can't believe a series like this wasn't given the chance to be seen properly - I'll sign up/buy anything that lets me see new episodes.
May be I'm the only one ? I bought the first season, not yet issued in france, and loved it.
Good characters, humour and nice fx, I want more !

I caught the movie "Serenity" on the 21th Nov 2005 and was immeidately hooked by the 3rd min! It was soooo good that I immediately went online and bought the Firefly DVD series. However, because there are only 13 episodes, I've watched all the episodes twice over now! Please please restart the series or better yet, have a sequel to the Serenity movie! - With hopeful wishes, Pauline (Singapore)
This has the potential to be another Stargate. Let's give it at least 8 seasons and lots of syndicated reruns! The dialog, storylines, plot, all great. I love it as it is but still I wish it could be cleaned up a little for family view. My scientific son would LOVE it. This could make the old Star Trek Series records break in half. Surely someone will pick this up!
