Firefly... what can I say that hasnt been said? Its amazing in so many ways that I couldnt fit a in this little box like this. so ill leave with: Firefly is amazing, it deserves a second chance (or third, after Serenity...:P)
I support absolutely this petition, though one must be honest and state that I wholeheartedly wish it to be a continuation of the series, as the movie left Wash and Book sadly gone. And why should such a thing be impossible? The movie contradicted the series in spots, so let us embrace that contradiction in its entirety. Bring back "Firefly" and its entire original cast.
I support this petition. I kept reading about Firefly, bought the dvd on a whim, now can't stop telling people how good it is. As good as seeing The Prisoner for the first time. Maybe better.
this show is an example of true creatvity. by taking a concept that people would usually laugh at, joss surprised everyone in creating a cult classic...again.
I support this petition. However, I belive that targeting it at more than premium channels (For example, every channel but FOX) would mean that those who do not have premuim channels would still benifit.
First off I'm in the UK, and yes my first taste of Firefly was by download. With all the problems, never thought it would air here. Anyway, push forward a little, I own the DVDs of the first TV series, and the film is on preorder. As a long standing Sci-Fi fan, all the good things get canceled, and this was by far the best for years. Simply said 'Bring it back!'
I never watched the show on Fox, as I had never heard of it... 9 pm on friday?? Lost wouldn't have been picked up for a second seaons in that spot. I recently picked up the box set after reading an article on the net. This was definitly one of the best shows to come out in a long time time. I'm not as fanatical as most firefly fans, but I have pre-ordered serenity, and I will most definitly watch any further shows of firefly, as well as get my entire workcenter into it as well. (my boxed set is half way around the office, with rave reviews. shock shock none of them had ever heard of it either.)
Firefly is an example of a good tv show, out of the masses of crap. it has huge potential, but needs to be marketed right, and needs to never conform to the moron punk or stupid people masses.

i shall sighn this to revive it. i live in scotland and never got a say on if it died. i am making sure i have a say on it if it is revived. i loved this show and i was horrifed to learn fox had canceld it. now i pray that ppl with any sence revive it.
Due to poor marketing, I never heard about the original airing. After watching a borrowed DVD set though, I purchased my own set and saw the movie on opening night. For any network who sees this, after the 3 month free preview that came with signing up for DirecTV, I cancelled my subscriptions to the premier channels. I would gladly resubscribe to any network that adopted Firefly.
