This was the finest show produced in the past five years and had the cast and characters that made the viewer care, made the viewer feel like they were a part of their lives. An ensemble cast that worked so well together with such believable stories about a group of people just trying to eke out a meager living in a 'verse that didn't want them. The loyal fan base is there; we just need our show back.
Hell, if they bring firefly to HBO or Showtime, I would order their services again. Original Programming like this is a rare thing in this day and age.

I watched when it was first out, I bought the DVD, watched it agsin on the SciFi channel, saw the movie, waiting for the Movie DVD....but the story is not done. Take us to the next adventures... I will subscribe to what ever network that does.
Who do I have to send money too in order to get this back on the air? I love this show, and I'm acutally depressed it's not going to see more episodes.

Firefly was a great show that happened to be sci-fi. It had exactly the right mix of bravery, action, humor, and compassion.
I own the DVDs of the series. I took six people to see Serenity and I will buy that DVD when it comes out.
So long as the quality stays the same I will buy just about anything associated with the show.
The "right" premium cable network would be one that would resurrect not only "Firefly" but "Dead Like Me" and "Wonderfalls".
There is a real market out here for quirky and intelligent television.
I watched Buffy and Angel from ten through eighteen. I cried when they ended and prayed for something else. I bought the Firefly DVDS a month ago and I've seen them about four times each, not counting the commentary episodes. My little brother(12) started watching them and now we sing "The Hero of Canton, The Man They Call Jayne!" everyday. The fact that they curse in CHinese is amazing and so intelligent. I've already started cursing at people and confusing them at the same time. My favorite character doesn't exist because they all come together to make one beautiful brilliant television show that Fox couldn't understand. So many charcters and worlds stand to be explored and I'd LOVE to be on the show. Maybe they could talk about the Slayers that once existed or now only exist on certain planets. Buffy and Angel took years to truly allow us to appreciate the show because there were so many layers yet to be shed. What if Angel had been cancelled after Doyle died and Gunn never joined the cast and they never found Fred or Conner. If Buffy had been cancelled we never would have gotten to see Hush or Graduation Day Part 1 and 2 or Bacoming Part 1 and 2 or What's My Line 1 and 2. I grew up watching those shows and I wish my children could as well but...DVDs. Anyway there is way too much in this world for FOX to just say "No". I saw a lot of things that we will one day have in our future. Things that weren't so strange (in reality they're building an elevator to the space as I type this) or inconceivable. The show was real and raw with emotion and depth. Joss has always done that. Even with Fray (a comic about a Slayer in Manhattan, 100 years from now) the story is not always about the supernatural but about the real trials and tribulations effecting the protaganist as well as the antagonist. I completely agree with the proposition of this petition; and am fully sure that no clever exec could fail to be convinced by it. It makes a lot of sense. Please bring the show back!
I watch the re-runs, watched the movie numerous times, and own the DVD's. There is no doubt that myself and a number of my friends would love to see the series revived!!
Best TV show I've seen on TV since the original Star Trek, or TNG.

You must revive the series. this show had what it takes to make it big but was caught off short. movie reviews were great, loyal audience... what more do you need?
I only discovered this series after the movie came out, but was appalled to learn that it was taken off the air so quickly. I don't have cable, but you can bet your bottom dollar that if Firefly is revived on cable, cable will have a brand new subscriber.
