I support this petition because Firefly is a prime example of the good programming that is missing from today's television fare. Firefly gives viewers the same feeling of escape from everyday pressures (news, war, economy, politics etc.) that Star Trek did in the mid-sixties. Ok, yeah it's not "reality" TV but don't we sometimes get enough reality already?

Firefly was a terrific series, a good blending of comedy/sci-fi/western and action. Fox REALLY dropped the ball on this one, but I'm hoping someone else will pick it up and give it the support it deserves.
