Although at first I thought it was too much like Star Wars, but as I watched I saw more of the familiar amusement at humans and the idea of humanity. One thing that I admired was the continual growth of the character of Serenity. I wish there had been more time to develop more of that character. Kaylee hints at it's personality, but I was never fully satisfied with the ship's presence. I also enjoyed the silence of space that was included although I think many people would feel that it is confusing and annoying and should be left out if (WHEN) the series is revived. The main reason that I want it revived, however, is that I have an avid, yet horrific, imagination and I WANT TO KNOW WHAT SHEPHERD DID!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH! It's driving me mad. If it helps, all of my friends are now addicted, not only to Angel AND BTVS, but also to Firefly. I'll force them to sign this too.
I support this petition. I currently only have basic cable, but would upgrade my package to include any channel that would pick up Firefly in any incarnation.
I support this petition. I was late to watching this show but have purchased the movie and rented and plan on buying the series on DVD. This is show is pure joy to watch. I would gladly subscribe to a pay channel to watch new episodes of Firefly.
My wife and I discovered this show after its cancellation. I was one of those turned off by the odd scheduling of the show. Now, it's easily our favorite TV show ever.
I support this petition. I feel in love with this show from the first time watchin it, even after buying it off some Name Dropping from Wizard magazine.
This is one of the most creative and innovative (not to mention just downright fun) shows to come about in a long time. It was a shame that it was pushed aside to make room for mindless dribble such as FOX's American "Idle" and The "Simpleton" Life.
