Firefly is one of the most original ideas to come out of Television for a long time. It is well written and deeply layered; just the sort of program that networks like to give up on. I've come to believe cable is different. Am I right?
This is easily one of the best shows I have ever watched. I fully support this petition. It seems to me alot of people forget what was happenin when this show was cancelled, the reign of Reality and the downfall of television. Many shows have died in the past 6 years due to networks support for mindless drivel... This show was not given the chance it deserved and I feel sorry it ever aired with fox, most people will agree that fox doesn't often treat pure genius with much kindness(family guy?)
Anyways alot of shows are being revived now dude to dvd-sales and movies... Firefly should be the next...
I support this petition. I loved this show, I tried to watch when it premiered but as has been mentioned it was shuffled around and not played in order. I own the dvd and saw the movie and would love to see it picked up by a network that appreciates it's genius.
Joss Whedon's original series was marred only by ridiculous promotion by the most pathetic network in broadcasting--the series was brilliant, and coupled with HBO's brilliance in producing drama, Firefly would shine! It would be a phenomenon. HBO, produce this series and I will subscribe for life.
I am very glad to have seen this show. Unfortunately, maybe too late to save it. I still have high hopes of seeing the Firefly 'family' continue their embark on exciting adventures. You can count on at least two more viewers when the show returns! Please consider bringing back the epic space opera.
Firefly was a breath of fresh air in science fiction television. Fresh characters, superb actors and with a writer of Joss Whedon's quality, you just can't lose. We fans need more Firefly on TV (since there are not enough characters to go through more than one or two more Joss Whedon feature films. :>)

I support this petition. Firefly was one of those shows that stood out inmensely, one that reached out and touched you inside. The writing was superb, the directing and camerawork amazing, the characters incredibly memorable, the storyline unparalleled in the genre. It covered a lot of ground... but was cut short. Very few shows are this good, including many who have run for years. We need it back.
I support this petition. Firefly is a diamond in the rough, the Cinderella story, the Million Dollar Baby. Perhaps a 2nd chance is all that is needed for people to realize the potential in this show. The movie was a great sign and maybe what is really needed for the show is just to re-air - at a time and station that is different, seen at a new light which can help bring it to the top.
Fox has no sense, they cancelled Family Guy at one point in time but eventually brought it back. It makes economical sense to jump on it before they do.
