After the GREAT movie adaptation, I see SO MANY directions this GREAT story could take, it would be a shame to NOT pursue it. Let Josh Whedon work more magic.
Without a doubt was one of the best written shows.. funny, thoughtful, smart, a real gem. I show anyone that wants to see it and they want more. Going to wear out my DVD player with the series and Serenity. I support this petition.
This the first time I ever took to actually put my name on a petition for the return of a TV series or to even encourage the making of a second movie.It's such a shame to have a quality show with such entertaining characters die away.

I fully support this petition, I just watched the entire season and I'm so dissapointed in FOX's handling of it. This has everything a good series needs to be a great pull for networks. I hope its revived, truly I do.

Firefly is the greatest show I have ever seen on television. It's sad to see such an awesome show with top-notch acting get cancelled when there are so many other shows that are simply terrible remain on the air.
I never saw Firefly on TV and just saw Serenity on a whim, but I liked it so much that I bought both the movie and TV show and am about halfway through the DVD set. The writing and content is absolutely superb and I cannot believe this show was cancelled.
Firefly is a brilliant show that I have watched and purchased on DVD, and would quickly sign up for if revived on a premium cable or satellite network.
Firefly is without doubt, the best television series I have ever had the pleasure of watching. The unique and detailed world that has been created is truly stunning. Hilarious, witty comedy, jaw dropping effects, edge of your seat action sequences and incredible performances from a relatively unknown cast. So many secrets have yet to be uncovered from the first series, so let it continue and give this show the treatment it deserves!
