I support this petition. Firefly has the same feel as the original Star Trek series (yes, I'm old enough to remember when the original series was first aired on TV). It would be a damned shame for some network or cable channel not to pick up one of the most original series in some time. I realize that the executives don't get the appeal of Firefly much as the executives didn't get the appeal of the original Star Trek (thus proving that nobody learns anything from history). Hopefully, somebody will realize that Firefly is a Star Trek / Star Wars type of gold mine and reinstate the series somewhere.
Firefly is an amazing show, that deserves a second chance, because it was hardly given one in the first place. Joss Whedon is a television genius, and would make help this show grow and develop the way it should have been able to.
I have many friends who have bought this show, who have asked to borrow it from me. Most of these people did not know about it when it was on the air, they have only found out about it since the release of Serenity. I'm sure there are many more new fans who would gladly watch it were it picked up, or buy it if it were released on DVD. There is money in it still!
Firefly is an amazing show with a loyal following and NEEDS to have at least a second season. If it is market right you have a multi-million dollar franchize
I love Firefly. My friends and I watched every episode that came on and we all bought copies of the dvd set when it came out. Please pick up the series.
Firefly is one of the best shows i have seen since watching The X-Files, Angel and Buffy.
Serenity was an amazing film, and if it should be enough of a reason to bring back Firefly!
I love firefly, and would gladly pay the monthly price of a premium channel if it meant access to new episodes of firefly as they are released.
Please consider supporting this series, as it is one of the most innovative science fiction shows in years, and will certainly bring a large chunk of its fanbase to your network.

Even though I don't currently subscribe to cable this would create another reason. The show was (and should still be) awesome. Creatively written, immersive, and certainly fun and different from anything else I have ever seen. I've seen the movie, and I really enjoyed the box set more, and the whole thing really needs continuation.

it's one of the best series i've seen in a long time - PLEASE allow us to see it unfold, as serenity the movie gave us a glimpse of Joss's vision, it'd be nice to see it happen.

I GREATLY support this petition. I am by no means a sci-fi junkie and I LOVE THIS SHOW. It's got everything I want in entertainment - action for the guys, romance for the girls and honest-laugh-out-loud humor for everyone. I have to know what happens with Mel and Inara!! I WANT MORE and WILL PAY FOR IT!!!!!!
