My friend Sam is 12, a few monthes younger than me. Her parents on't let her do anything. If she goes for a walk, they need to know who, what, when, where, and why. She isn't allowed hanging out with certain people. Her parents get mad at her for practically nothing.
My mom doesn't give a damn who I hang out with. She doesn't know who I hang with, what I do, where I go, when I do these things, and why I even do them. I pierced my ears once, got them done professionaly. I asked my mom to let me get them done a second time this year. She said no. So I pierced them myself. She found out the next day but didn't really care. By then Sam had her ears pierced for the first time (after much urging) and then a few monthes later she had them pierced again professionaly. Then she had her belly button pierced. My mom hasn't let me get my belly button pierced. She never gives a reason, and it pisses me off. When she does, she says "I'm Too young" Whatever.
