We the undersigned ask that Comedy Central have Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul on the Daily Show for an interview. We feel that Dr. Paul has been largely ignored by mainstream media and that he deserves a chance to show the nation his views and policies.

The day after the May 3rd debate, ABCNews.com introduced a poll asking readers who they thought won the Republican debate. The only Republican candidate that was not on the poll was Ron Paul. Several thousand members of the website Digg.com wrote to ABCNews via comments but their comments were deleted. Eventually Ron Paul was added to the poll and at the time of this writing is leading the next closest option by a margin of 86%. Although Ron Paul was added to the poll and is winning the poll by a large margin, any comments pertaining to him are actively being censored by ABCNews.

In another instance of Ron Paul being ignored by mainstream media, MySpace.com (Owned by Fox) has been censoring users who post bulletins that support Ron Paul. There is a video on YouTube that will explain this. It is found at http://youtube.com/watch?v=ehhj-0JsKmA

On another note, support for Ron Paul is indeed out there, but you just have to look a little harder to find it. We’ve already mentioned the ABCNews poll, but take a look at the MSNBC poll posted on MSNBC.com the day after the Republican debate. It is found at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18436681/. Dr. Paul leads by wide margins in nearly every category offered by the poll.

Dr. Paul is a worthy presidential candidate who values the Constitution and personal freedom more than any other candidate. We feel that he would be an excellent choice for the office of President of the United States and we hope you, Comedy Central, take the opportunity to invite him to the Daily Show so he may be interviewed by Jon Stewart.
