The day the programing switched I emailed the station with my dimay at management changing. I reminded them that Roula and Ryan won the best morning show with the Chronicle. Why would you change something that was so right. They emailed me back and asked to listen to Sam. I didn't like him on the other station, why would this station be any different. It wasn't. In fact, offered less, I guess Maria carried the last gig. Anyway Mix, See ya! I have changed to the Arrow.
I can't stand Sam Malone. He thinks he's funny when he just sux. I listened to Roula and Ryan for War of The Roses. Now I don't even care to listen to Mix 96.5 at all.
Roula and Ryan and Eric were great together and made my morings...now on 96.5 "NOT SO MUCH" but I wouldn't know as I'm sure a lot of people who have found a CD to pop in because morning radio is so sad... please think about your listeners and what they want to listen to...here's a clue...NOT Sam Malone...really...

I was listening to Sam Malone today. He was talking out of his ass. I couldn't believe he was so close-minded. I've found a couple of other stations to listen to while he was on. I felt like I was wasting my time listening to his meaningless ramble.
Bring them back!!!!! I really miss their upbeat personalities and quality show. I don't care for the new morning show people and have stopped listening to morning radio. MIX please bring them back to brighten our mornings!!!!!!
Since Roula and Ryan left, mornings have left me listening to everything, EXCEPT the mix. Sam sucks and I would love to stuff a sock in Natalie's mouth.

Roula and Ryan (and producer Eric) had a chemistry like no other morning show and a genuine connection with Houstonians. MIX 96.5 has lost this listener forever.
I actually deleted Mix 96.5 from my radio preset stations on the day that the Roula and Ryan show was cancelled. The replacement hosts have NOT a tenth of the chemistry and innovativeness that R&R had. Bring 'em back!!!
I don't listen to 96.5 anymore. I was a loyal listener since back in the days of Larry Moon and Susan Lennon till Clear Channel gave Roula and Ryan the Ax. I can't stand Sam Malone. He is a horrible replacement and Roula and Ryan did not need replacing. I listen to 106.9 and 99.1 now in the mornings.

I don't listen to 96.5 anyone because Roula & Ryan are gone. They might of been dorky but very entertaining and fun! Sam Malone is too boring in my opinion I miss the good stuff!
I used to look forward to going to school last year in the morning for "war of the roses" and now it’s a lonely drive to work. I now have to resort to only country music since "see ya" man is down right awful.. That was the biggest mistake that clear channel could make.. I bet the ratings have gone down also! That shows that they are ignorant:) Bring R & R back!!!

What a terrible way to treat loyal listeners by yanking a great team off the air and hardly any notice. Not very professional. Natalie is grating on the nerves and I am sure her "starfiles" causes at least half the accidents during rush hour.
Clear Channel has shown how uninformed "corporate figure heads" operate by not only how they treated R & R. but by who they brought in to replace them.
I tried out Sam Malone for a couple days, but found him very boring. I am now spending my time jumping between 94.5 and 103.7 until Roula and Ryan return to the airwaves.

I have tried to listen to Sam Malone and Natalie. The mere fact that he laughs constantly at himself is enough to drive me over the edge. To top it off Natalie sounds like a stereotypical blonde bimblo who agrees with everything Sam says. And "starfiles" (in squeaky voice) has to go. Bring back Roula and Ryan and Eric they made the hour drive bearable and they worked well in tandem.
I used to listen to Sam on KRBE back in high school. After I finished college and came back to Houston, I grew out of his show (it just became too boring and unbearable to listen to him)and switched to R & R. Roula and Ryan made my morning drive a lot more enjoyable. Please bring them back! If I want to listen to Sam, I would've stayed with KRBE in the first place.

For someone who also has a conservative radio talk show, Sam Malone sure does act like an immature adolescent. If any of his listeners from his talk show were to listen to his morning show on 96.5, they would probably have a very different opinion of him.
