Sam SUCKS! I miss R&R and eric so much they were the only reason to listen to radio in the morning with war of the roses and all the laughs. Please bring them back! Mix 96 has totally turned my family and friends away from that station. Sam's voice is just horrible and i refuse to listen to that staion now :(

Roula and Ryan are quality radio personalities -- one of the few morning radio shows that is actually funny and unique. Sam Malone is just another "extreme personality" like every other radio attempt to grab attention. I listen to talk radio when I want to hear vague political leanings fused with entertainment. Mornings on 96.5 aren't the place for Sam Malone.
BRING ROULA & RYAN BACK!! I cannot stand to listen to 96.5 w/Sam Malone. He is horrible and I used to always look forward to hear what R&R were going to talk about. I am shocked and disappointed. Are they still in Houston? Please get them back!!!
I loved rula and ryan and am temted to not even listen tomix 96.5 anymore. My favorite thing in the mornings is listening and they somehow always make my mornings start off right. Shame on you for getting rid of them

I no longer listen to 96.5. Sam is so boring- how can he even be on the radio? He is lousy with nothing interesting to say. I can't stand listening anymore. Who is in charge there to make such a lousy move?
I commute from Houston to Beaumont 3 days a week. My drive begins at 6:00am. I actually looked forward to the drive when Roula, Ryan, and Eric were on the radio. That's the only thing that made it ok. Now I am MISERABLE!!! I don't even listen to radio. I tried to listen to Sam Malone's show, but it is HORRIBLE!! I don't know who was in charge of that at 96.5, but whomever replaced R, R, & E with Sam needs to be fired effective IMMEDIATELY!! I now listen to only CD's in the morning. PLEASE BRING BACK ROULA, RYAN, AND ERIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can not believe that you guys took off Roula, Ryan and Eric!!! Clear channel really sucks for the way that you handled it also. I do not listen to it anylonger...that is because I only listen to the best and you do not have it anymore!!!

I literally laughed out loud every morning during my hour-long commute to work, thanks to Roula, Ryan, and Eric. I now flip channels like a raving mad woman, trying in vain to find a replacement that even remotely comes close to their wit, humor, and chemistry. It just ain't happening. Shame on Mix 96 for thinking that they can just cram another program down our throats. I no longer listen to your station at all, and I hope you pay dearly with loss of listeners for such a foolhardy decision. I have to ask, were you actually aiming for an aging, wanna-be-hip-but-can't-quite-get-it program? If so, mission accomplished! OPA!
Houston morning radio is lost with Roula, Ryan, and producer Eric. I hope that Sam's ratings are 1/10 of Roula and Ryan's and that you, Clear Channel, will be forced to admit that you made a mistake.
Roula and Ryan had one of the BEST morning shows I've ever had the prevledge to listen to. They were the ONLY reason I ever listened to Mix 96.5. Bring them BACK!

To be an ugly, no chin, hooknosed, homely overweight redhead with no talent and then steal Ted Danson's character name is pitiful. This is the biggest dork on radio and to see this "Peanuts theme" playing ass bouncing back from being fired gracefully at 104.1 makes me gag. He is the biggest a-hole in radio and neither funny nor charismatic and that's why he was fired in the first place. I listened a few times when forced by one person when he was on 104 and either him or the fat black chick on that radio station were up for loudmouthed dorks of the year in my book. Both vied for the mike and both had Weekly Reader type responses and jokes. The program director and general mgr at 96.5 WILL BE FIRED when the arbs for 6 months will show a major decline from Rula and Ryan. Don't be fooled by month one, guys. This old, dork morning show fake-o with the freckles, baggy shirts, porcelian smile, chipmunk grin, hooknose, and no chin, makes men and non-soccer mom women wish they were on another planet. GET RID OF THIS PHONY NOW!!!!
My mornings arent the same without RR&E. This has got to be the one of the most stupid decisions that has ever been made. I really hope they can find somewhere in Houston to go!

I refuse to listen to Mix anymore. I hate Sam Malone with a passion. He is the most annyoing person I have ever heard. His stupid Se Ya and his constant blabbering. I swear hearing his voice makes me want to rip my raido out of the dash and throw it out the window.

I no longer listen to 96.5 in the mornings due to Roula, Ryan, and Eric not doing the morning show. The new show is not near as funny and if I want to hear sam malone, I can listen to him on 740 am.
I don't necessarily disagree with Sam Malone's political views. Here is what I do not like about Sam - HIS PERSONALITY and "Anywhoo" irritating Natalie!! Here is my question-Natalie, can you come up with anything, anything at all, that is interesting, entertaining, or thought provoking to say? Anything? Then take your "anywhoo" self and go back to traffic (or whatever you did before this). And for you Sam, what makes you think that you are interesting enough to be heard for so many hours out of the day? Hey Sam, aren't you bummed that you actually have to play music now?
I agree with everyone else's posts. Sam Malone is not meant for morning radio and I don't turn mine at work on till after 9:00 because I refuse to listen to him.
Even if he was a great replacement, ClearChannel and KHMX handled the switch SO incredibly bad. They should not have yanked R&R with no word. They must have expected a reaction like this. Such a bad decision...

Roula, Ryan, and Eric were the best morning show in Houston. Kicking them off the air was a bad mistake and we, the loyal fans, we work incessantly to ensure that they are heard on another station. Because of the flaky nature of Clear Channel, I advocate against them showing back up on a Clear Channel operated station!
I don't like Sam Malone just like a lot of other people don't apparently. R&R were really much better than Sam. It would be nice to have them back, butwhy would they even consider coming back to a radio station that treated them that way? I sure wouldn't. Too bad MIX screwed up roally and besides losing a great morning team they lost many loyal listeners that will never trust MIX again.
I was so upset to learn that the R&R show was being canceled. I was even more upset to learn that it was being replaced by Sam Malone, of all people. He is obnoxious and annoying and is the reason I never listened to KRBE in the mornings. Now he is the reason I no longer listen to KHMX. ClearChannel is single-handedly ruining Houston radio. What a disappointment! The morning show is horrible. I find it hilarious that the same people are calling in and able to get through to play the games.. especially since they are getting through 2-3 times during the same show. Come on... get a clue !! I want Roula and Ryan back SOON!!! I am not a huge fam of Sam Malone - he should have stayed at KRBE with Maria Now, he's on 96.5 ....and he's not funny! I don't listen to anything on The Mix before 10am now...and when those STUPID Sam Malone commercials come on, I immediately switch to another station. Roula & Ryan are awesome! They where voted the best radio morning show by the Houston Chronicle just a short while ago. Sam Malone is the biggest looser on radio today! The programming manager at 96.5 sent my girlfriend a reply to email she sent. He said that the station felt that R & R had taken the morning show as far as they could. ALL I HAVE TO SAY TO MIX MANAGEMENT....PUT DOWN THE CRACK PIPES

Sam Malone's blathering is like nails on a chalboard to me, especially with the porno backgound music. And I can't even discuss Natalie's mindless giggling without bile rising in my throat. What I can't figure out is how anyone with any kind of taste (or brains) could replace R&R with th Nice going Clear Channel--you've managed to alienate the very people you want on your side.
Huge mistake! I stop listening to the morning show and now I stop listening to the whole station because all their doing is advertising Sam Malone's morning show every chance they get and it's become annoying.

What a HUGE mistake. I went from country to R&R and now back to country. I just can't stomach the dumb banter between two BORING folks. No offence, but Star Files bites and everytime I hear them sing it like Wayne's world I want to slap someone for changing my celebrity scoop!
