I wonder how long you will allow Sam Malone to continue on the before you realize it was a mistake to replace R&R. I can not listen to him in the morning on the way to work. I am afraid i'll fall asleep at the wheel. He is so boring. Time to tune out your station and listen to books on tape. Anything is better than Sam Malone. Bring back R&R!
Roula and Ryan is what made my long commute to work so enjoyable.I have not gone back to listening to 96.5 since they were taken off air and I still cannot find a station I enjoyed as much.Sam is annoying now just like he was on 104 and there is NO difference in his show. It is the same on 96.5 as it was on 104 just a different bimbo sitting next to him.
I think it is a shame they took them off the air. I find Sam very boring and arrogant. They do not have the Chemistry that roula Ryan and Eric have. I can not wait until they are back on the air!We love and Miss you all!
malone has now made me leave 2 radio stations. i dont even listen to the mix on the way home from work anymore, out of fear of hearing his commercials. and why the hell would you replace the #1 publicy voted morning show. refer the the chronicle's houston toP 100. I agree 100% with Tina (618). Sam & Maria were just fine together. He should have never left KRBE. R & R were even a better pair then Sam & Maria. Why mess up a GREAT thing? Bring them back - this is their home, especially Roula. WE MISS YOU R&R!!
It blew me away when I heard Sam Malone was moving to this station. He is not a fit for what your listners like to hear. If your tryong to save money with one salary versus two you will find out real quick that is was not worth it!
They brought alot to morning talk radio, they brought a lot of incite and humor to show. Made the commute to work fun, need to do something creative and exciting bring back Roula & Ryan!
Roula and Ryan are great!! It made my morning commute bearable. I no longer am a 96.5 fan and will not listen to it until Roula, Ryan and Eric are back.
The Roula & Ryan show was awesome! And Eric too! I started listening to 96.5 in the mornings because of R&R. I liked Sam when he was on 104 with Maria ...but...it was all talk and little music, so I moved on. Sam and Natalie just don't have what it takes.

You made a big mistake. Roula & Ryan were great, in fact they were the only reason I listened to 96.5. Sam Malone was the reason I stopped listening to 104 years ago. He has to be THE most annoying person ever. I have not listened to your station since they went off the air and I don't think I'll ever will.
Clear Channel - you really screwed up. I no longer listen to 96.5. I tried Sam Malone and don't think he's funny. I have reprogramed all my radios in the car and house and 96.5 is GONE. (at least till R & R come back in the morning!!)

I've put the CD's back in my truck for my morning commutes. Sam was his best with Maria, this Natalie girl giggles tooo much and Roula & Ryan made 96.5 popular. I never knew who they were before R&R. I use to flip from 96.5 to 104 all day long now it's just CD's! So guess what I will be adding to my list for Christmas!

Sad thing is I barely even listen to radio anymore - why bother with the lame hash they force out - but I'd rather listen to R&R and WOTR any day of the week over SM.
I can't believe it! There he was Sam Malone! I kept changing the station thinking it was mistakenly on KRBE. I didn't listen to 104 because of him and now I can't listen to my favorite morning show hosts. Bring back Roula, Ryan and Eric! They brought smiles to my face and are desperately missed!!!
I listened to Mix only because of the morning show. I like the R&R show with Eric also. Sam Malone is not at all what I want to listen to. Bring back Roula, Ryan and Eric or let us know where they will be going. I don't like the music but I like listened because I liked the morning show with Roula, Ryan and Eric.
Roula and Ryan were the best morning show in H-Town. Bring them back and get that GOP talking points-spouting bozo Malone off the air. You can rest assured I'll never listen to 96.5 until they're back. CC has no clue as to what their market likes.

Please bring back R and R. I can't understand what is supposed to be so great about Malone. He seems to be fumbling for things to talk about and there is alot of dead air. He doesn't talk about anything substantive. The morning commute is bad enough w/out the added misery of Sam Malone. I can't figure out who your target audience is with him. I stopped listening to 104 BECAUSE of Sam Malone..now you ruined yet another station. I now won't listen to 96.5 nor will I be purchasing any products from your sponsors.
Sam Malone is awful. To be honest, 104 is better with Atom Smasher. But I do prefer Roula & Ryan. I can't understand how this kind of move could be made. It affects so many listeners. Sam Malone quiting his job should not affected Roula and Ryan this way. That was his problem, not theirs...
It's so wrong for Clear Channel to take R&R off the air and without any explanation to their loyal listeners. That only goes to show that clear channel does not care about
the opinions of their listeners. Sam Malone and Natalie is just so boring, and their fake laughs is just so annoying. I won't be listening to 96.5 until they bring R&R back.

Not that signing this petition is going to matter but I would like Clear Channel to know that Roula & Ryan were the ONLY reason I listened to 96.5 - I do not turn to that station any more, Malone's giggly side kick annoys me that early in the morning. He was much better paired up w/Maria Todd. You have ruined my mornings. I can't do either 104 or 96.5 now. My carpoolers & I have turned country.
I was disgusted to turn my radio on one morning to find not only was there no Roula, Eric and Ryan, but that they had been replaced by the dry, humorless Sam Malone. I moved down here several years ago (recovering army brat, so i have heard my share of DJs all across our great US) and after hearing Mr. Malone only a handful of times I couldn't bring myself to go back to that station. Roula, Eric and Ryan were the highlight of my morning (quite an honor since I am NOT a morning person, AT ALL), I turn on the station in hopes that this was all a really sick, twisted joke, only to find out ... Not at all. Please bring my favorite trio back to Houston.
I always looked forward to talking about Roul and Ryan with all the teachers at my school each morning. ALL of us agree that Sam Malone is not entertaining and we have all stopped listening to the Mix and have resorted to other morning shows or CD. How sad!

Listening to them made mornings bearable. Sam Malone is an ANNOYING jerk. I refuse to listen to him... I've taken 96.5 off my presets and will not go back until R&R are returned to their rightful spot on the morning show.
Mornings were such a joy to listen to Roula and Ryan. I laughed listening to them and even had "water cooler" discussions about their show. If I wanted to listen to Sam Malone, I would have turned him on. I will not listen to 96.5. I have XM radio and will turn that on. Roula and Ryan had such a great dynamic that Sam and his sidekick will never measure up to.

Somebody needs to contact the Houston Chronicle. They never did a story on Roula and Ryan which is kind of ironic since they voted them the best radio show in Houston. I also went to Clear Channel's corporate directory and the CEO of the company is a man named John Hogan. I agree...a serious mistake has been made. I was out of the country for three weeks, and could not wait to get back for my morning drive in. Only to find Sam Malone...Yuck! I stopped listening to 104 a long time ago because of him.

Mornings r so very boring without Roula Ryan & Eric. I seriously cant get up without listening to their funny conversation. Get that BOZO Sam Sucky See Yaa off the air. I used to be a loyal listener to Mix 96.5 and absolutely loved Roula & Ryan. Why did you can them and bring in Sam Malone? His show interests me about as much as having a root canal performed without anesthesia. Malone is BORING and Natalie sounds fake with her forced laugh! Why did you change the morning show? You had a winning team!!! Houston listeners voiced their opinion when they voted Roula & Ryan as the Best Radio Team in Houston! Until Mix comes to its senses and brings Roula & Ryan back, I will no longer listen to Mix 96.5. Also, I really didn't appreciate receiving a canned response to my e-mail to Buddy Scott about my displeasure in Roula & Ryan's unexpected departure from Mix. The least Buddy Scott could have done is personally respond to the messages. I guess he couldn't waste his precious time responding to the multitude of messages I am positive he received after the listeners learned of Mix's decision to fire the best morning show team in Houston. What a bad executive decision. I hope ClearChannel fires Mr. Scott next!
