I am so disappointed in CC for getting rid of Roula and Ryan! I quit listening to 96.5 when I found out that they were taken off the air. I have never been loyal to any certain radio station until I found R&R. I listened to the faithfully until they were yanked. I would love to have them back!
I have stopped listening to the progam since that jerk Sam Malone took over. I have gone back to Sunny 99.1. Please bring back Ryan & Roula, that was the best program on your station so I can go back to 96.5.

There's been a big void during my AM commute since R&R got booted off their show. I switched from 104 to 96.5 ever since I heard R&R's morning show. I'm eagerly looking forward to hearing them again on the radio (together with Producer Eric).
I cannot stand Sam Malone!!! I will sign anything that will put him strictly back on the AM dial and off my FM dial. I do not listen to 96.5 at all anymore in the mornings simply because they replaced one pompous butthead (ryan) with an even bigger pompous butthead~SAM MALONE!!!! I will continue to boycott the Mix as long as they have that man on the air.
Yes bring back R&R, not because Ryan is a flaming liberal. Which I am not sure why Ms. Barber cares what Sam Malone believes politically. I don't like his style on the radio. His politics I don't care about nor did I care about Ryan's left leaning conservative hating comments (and he made them all the time). So again its a "Liberal" minded person who wants people removed due to his or her political ideas and not because a "MORNING FM Radio" show is not as entertaining or that the original cast was liked by its audience. Not surprised by this at all..typical "liberal" mind set.

It just goes to show how awful radio can get when run by a mega corporation that does everything the same way in every city. So what if Roula & Ryan fell in the ratings? Did you notice we had, um, major hurricanes roll through here? I switched from 104 to avoid Sam Malone. I do not care for him at all.
Sam Malone is horrible... I will never be a mix listener! You have taken the #1 morning radio group off the air in a very unfair, tacky fashion... You have lost me as a listener forever... my luck to R&R&E... when they do get a morning show, you will see how bad you messed up... Sam is an idiot, he is not funny and he is not worth my time!!!
The only show I listened to other than NPR in the morning was R&R. I was shocked to hear the new guy on the radio this morning.. What a shame.. Mix will loose me as a listener if R&R don't comeback.
I know this is something radio stations regularly do...take good DJ's off the air, try to spice up the show...mix it up...did not work this time! It's more entertaining to listen to NPR in the mornings.
I will not listen to Sam Malone. If I liked him, I would not have become a fan of Roula and Ryan. The best part of Sam Malone in the morning was Maria Todd. Who will carry him now?
I haven't listen to 96.5 at all since they took roula & ryan off the air. My mornings just aren't the same anymore. I won't listen to your station again until they are back.
Please bring Roula & Ryan back to 96.5 because all 4 of the carpoolers HATE the giggly lady with Malone and too much silence with Malone's speech. We have switched to other stations now.
Please bring back Roula & Ryan!! I first switched over to 96.5 after growing tired of listening to Sam Malones MANY opinions on 104 and now he's ruining my mornings again! I've now given up and am listening to cds during my morning commute until either you come to your senses or another station gets smart and hires Roula and Ryan!
I do missed listening in the morning with R&R ... I never did like Sam ... Didn't think he is funny at all. Now I have nothing else to listen to ... 96.5 must of hired more of 104 rejects to take Sam back ... what a bunch of loser ...
R&R brought me back to radio. I'm still listening to radio, but to Country Legends. It takes me back to country when country was cool. Other than that, its KPFT or KTRU or books on CD. Mainstream Radio isn't all there is. CC doesn't rule the radio waves.
We recently relocated to Houston from Buffalo NY. R&R were the first morning team that I found and I have been listening ever since. And yes if someone called me offering free roses on a Thursday I would send them to my wife! BY the By We now listen to NPR on the way into work!
Sam Malone? Hasn't he retired yet? Why would 96.5 pick up 104's rejects? He's never been funny, interesting, or worth keeping the station tuned too. This is one of the worst decisions MIX has made.

I really miss hearing Roula & Ryan every morning. I cannot stand Sam Malone or any of the other morning shows.... Hopefully they will reappear in Houston soon. Until then, I will stick to my CD's or BBC.
WHY!WHY!WHY? I love R,R&E! I couldn't wait for my drive to work to hear them and hated to see 10am come. Sam Malone was annoying on 104 and him along with his copyrighted catchphrase need to go away! Then when I try to give mix a try after 9am when he is off the air I still have to hear "Houston's best mix all day and Sam Malone in the mornings, "see ya!" after every song all day long! It doesn't stop. Mix is putting him on a pedestool. What kind of crap is that! Here is something ironic: I was listening to 104 the other day and listeners were calling in to say how happy they were Sam was gone and remembering back on all the times he would talk so horribly about the mix on air. Hmm... ClearChannel needs to send him to AM channels which is where they found his new awkward sidekick, Natalie. Send her back to traffic duty and bring back Roula, Ryan, Eric, & Noony. Bring back Houston's best Radio Team!
I have erased all of CC stations from my car radio. My mornings are so sad now without R,R and Eric. I voted for them in the Ultimate Houston poll. If I wanted to listen to Sam M. I would have been listening to 104- I chose not to! Roula and Ryan mad Houston traffic enjoyable- imagine that!!! Bring back our beloved Roula, Ryan and Eric :)
I have nothing against Sam Malone, but one thing is true, Roula and Ryan are very good and filled our mornings with fun, laughs, and positive energy. I have never been a radio listener, and I enjoyed the show so much. Guess I'll have to go back to my cds.

Sam Malone sucks very bad. This was the reason I had switch over to 96.5 in the first place. Roula and Ryan was great listening especially on Thursdays. Hope you can get back on the air waves soon!

PLEASE bring Ryan and Roula back. I enjoyed them so much more than Sam Malone. I am now to listening to 104 KRBE in the morning because of the bizarre removal of Roula and Ryan done with absolutely no forewarning.

I, like everyone else, am very disappointed. Didn't Roula and Ryan just get an award for their show? Isn't the old saying true, "don't fix it, if it isn't broke", well, Roula and Ryan (and Eric) were not broken. They were perfect. I miss those guys and will not listed to 96.5 again. This show is terrible! I was also waiting for someone to mention that 4 note hood jam they have to play in the background to cover up periods of silence that smacks of buying them time to come up with something to say...after about two minutes, the repetitiveness gets so annoying, I can't stand it. They are so-o-o-o boring. It is so important to be vitalized before we all start our long days...they just don't have that gift. Please consider and reconsider what you have done! THE FUN IS BACK?..ARE YOU ON CRACK? Here's a hint...it never left!
I was very upset to find out Roula and Ryan were off the air. I no longer listen to KHMX 96.5. And I was in that "bracket" that was supposedly not being reached.

What a stupid dumb move. I can tell you that no one I know in Houston is listening to SM. Who would. It is soooooooo boring! The 10 minutes I was forced to listen to him was a painful and traumatic experiance I hope never to relive. My whole reason for getting up early in the mornings are gone.
I was so dissapointed to tune into 96.5 and hear that Rula and Ryan had been removed... I say removed and not replaced for a reason. I'm in that demographic that Clear Channel is trying to "recapture" - the 30 something female and I'm not impressed with the new morning show at all... I thought that I should listen in before judging and just do not get what the hoopl-la is about Sam Malone? I really got a kick out of the Rula and Ryan show and now I must flip through the dial on my way to work trying to find something worth listening to. Obviously not a Clear Channel station!
Well,, Once again Clear Channel has succeeded in ruining one of Houston's great radio stations. It started with changing the longest runnning radio program, 101 KLOL, into that spanish rap garbage. And now they have put that no talent hack Sam Malone back on the air. I think everyone in Houston Agrees with me when I say that, I for one, was happy when that moron left 104 KRBE, even though I didn't even listen to that chanel. Everyone in Houston should boycott ALL Clear Channel owned Radio Stations, and maybe when the sponcers see that no one is listening anymore, they will pull their advertizing and those Clear Channel morons will put the programming back on all the stations in Houston. The one's that Houstonians, and ALL TEXANS want to hear. Come on Houston, LETS MAKE A STAND AGAINST CLEAR CHANNEL.....
Don't know where ClearChannel got their stats from, but I was in the target audience that R&R supposedly weren't reaching. I'm no longer in that audience for 96.5, but will be for whatever station they go to.

I don't enjoy listening to the show anymore, because it's very obvious that Sam Malone does not know anything about the Houston area, and that makes it very boring. And his partner, sorry, but I can not take her voice!

Sam Malone is the worst on air personality to hit Houston in a long time. I REFUSE to have 96.5 on my radio. I only listened to Mix because of Roula & Ryan and I won't listen without them.
Sam Malone is a horrible DJ. I quit listening to 104.1 because I could not stomach him. Roula and Ryan were awesome, Sam SUCKS! Clear Channel has made a very ignorant decision here. Hope y'all enjoy the decline in listeners.
