if you do not bring roula and ryan back your station will go down the drain and i dont want to see that because i love your music!...but Sam and Natilie need to go they are so horrible and i will not listen to them...they are so annoying...and they pause in between like every sillable...the background music sux!...and natilies laugh is horendous!

I just email 96.5's program director and told him how disappointed I was. I will not be listening to 96.5 any longer. Sam Malone sucks! I hated he and Maria Todd together on 104 KRBE and ultimately quit listening to that channel all together. When I see him on Ch. 2, I change it. His "See ya" tag line is old, stupid and tired. Rould and Ryan were the best! They need to be brought back to the air. I am so sick and tired or crappy corporate radio. I am getting XM or Sirius radio now!
I really think it was unfair to Roula, Ryan, and Eric as well as their fans that they were simply removed from the air without explanation. I hated turning on my radio one morning and only hearing music followed by new commercials promoting SM. I miss R&R on my long morning drive, its just not the same. The War of the Roses should be on this morning, Thursday, but instead I'll be shuffling through my CDs to find something more interesting than SM and their stupid "Star Files".

The R&R show had structure and interesting segments, much more entertaining than the SM schtick of a background techno beat & a sidekick whose only purpose is to laugh at his attempted humor. Please bring them back!
Bring them back! I miss hearing them in the mornings. This Sam Malone and --i dont even remember her name are soooo annoying and are trying too hard to be funny. I hate hearing them doing their little jingle "star files" icant stand them! I now stick to The Buzz 94.5!!
I never liked that guy.. How freaking annoying is he.. Sweetheart.. baby.. etc... gahhh... No genunine personality. I stopped listening to 96.5 and wont listen to it again until that guy is off the air. I stopped listening to 104 for the same reason. Phenominal as they say on their comercial is the birth of a child, straight A's on my teens report card.. etc. Not Sam Malone in the morning.. Ashame, I use to be in a good mood in the morning with Roula and Ryan. When I tried the one time to listen to him, I was grouchy as hell all day.. 96.5 you suck!
I used to listen to Roula and Ryan every morning while I worked out. Their show encouraged me to go run so i could listen to them. Then I saw the billboards...need is say more.
Clear Channel I truly think you have made a big mistake with this switch to Sam Malone. Nothing against Sam but his topics thus far have been alot less entertaining. His sidekick Natalie is unoriginal and is only agreeing and laughing at everything Sam says. Although I find Ryan to be overly opinionated I really like Roula and think that they are a great compliment to each other and they fit a nice niche within the target audience of 96.5 listeners.

Just when you guys were climbing and gaining my loyalty, you destroyed a good thing. I left 104 because it was getting monotonous and boring. It was the same old "See Ya" and the same sidekick laughing at everything under the sun. Roula and Ryan were two different individuals that complimented one another. Then your station pulled the most un-customer service friendly thing that you can do in your industry. You relieved Roula and Ryan without an explanation. Then you hired Sam Malone and a carbon copy of Maria Todd. You claim that this is a newly format morning show but it's the same old thing-- Sam Malone and his "see ya" and a "Maria Todd."
I look forward to the day that a Houston radio station comes up with something original and not ride the curtail of another radio stations success.

I STOPPED listening to 104.1 b/c Sam Malone was REALLY irritating me. I started listening to 96.5 b/c I love R&R & Eric! I'm really disappointed that they are gone. I no longer have a station that I listen to most. In fact I listen to now are my cd's! Once in a while I go back to see if maybe, MAYBE they are back. Please... bring them back. No offense to Sam Malone, but he is more irritating than he is entertaining. I may be forced to go back to 104.1.
I switched to 96.5 because the Roula & Ryan show was the only decent entertainment. I already deleted 104 from my radio buttons bcuz I didn't like SM's show. Now it looks like I may delete 96.5 also.

I have felt a deep sadness losing what was the best part of my morning. Nothing against Sam, but how could ANYONE compete with the BEST...which was Roula, Ryan and Eric. I hope they find another place in Houston and I will listen to whatever channel they end up on.

I love the Roula and Ryan show. I listend to Sam Mallone one morning and it took everything in me not to fall asleep while I was driving. After listening him talk about the same thing for three hours, I will never listen to his show again. He is very boring and I cannot believe that they would even think he would be a better morning show. Bring Roula and Ryan back.
I moved to Houston a couple of years ago and Rula and Ryan were part of my morning commute. Now 96.5 is not even on my radio!! THANKS CLEAR CHANNEL for making my drive even longer.

Since they have left, I have NOT listened to the station.........I have no interest in listening to Sam Malone in the morning. I never listened to him on 104 either. Roula and Ryan had a great team approach, which was always fun to listen to. I was so sad by the change and I've been lost as a listener!!
Shame on you, Clear Channel. You took a clearly talented morning team and replaced them with mediocrity. Sam Malone does not appeal to the age group you are attempting to target. You are driving away every listener you ever had. It's interesting that on Sam's first day that only the few singing his praises were able to get through. Were they paid? You've lost yet another loyal listener. Bring back Roula, Ryan and Eric and you will get your listeners back.

That wrong really for Clear Channel do get rid of Roula and Ryan. They related to my age group and talking about growing up in the eightys. I loved the shows whole layout. Normally I listen to a cd, but when I listened in one morning I was hooked. I listen on my way into work and also running into work and turning the radio once I was inside. Thank you for having putting on old SORRY SAM. That was a mistake to take them off the air and very crappy the way you did it.

Sam Malone is horrible and is past his prime for any radio station in the Houston market. The corporate greedy clear channel made a horrible mistake, and hopefully, R&R will be back on the waves soon to smash 96.5 in the ratings. R&R made me laugh, think, and enjoy my ride in. I loved for the War of the Roses on Thursday mornings. Hope they make it back soon.
R&R&E - Need you guys back man! I've become a radio surf junkie... nothing out there. I've never liked Sam Malone (dork, boring, arrogant...). His voice always made me cringe... I avoided 104 because Malone was such a goof. Now I skip 96.5 FM and 740 AM. I can even put up with the blatant cross-selling of CCC/media partner programming as "entertainment". But putting dork-master at the helm?! What was CCC thinking?

I was shocked to turn on the radio to so mucn change-I did not always agree with the programming and Ryan was sometimes a bit cynical abd Roula a little too giddy but the fans interacted and time wa spent listening while sitting in Houston traffic - now I am bored and whatever background noise when Sam Malone is talking is not at all entertaining- I do think Houston Listeners deserve more than what we have now...

What a drag. I can't believe that Roula and Ryan were ousted. Even my young children liked the morning show and kids that young typically don't like talk radio at all! My 9 year old son got in the car and asked me to put it on Roula and Ryan and I almost started to cry! Roula and Ryan were the only reason I listened to MIX.
