I used to play Runescape. I quit because it took over my life. All I used to think about was RUNESCAPE and basically it was like RUNESCAPE was taking over my REAL life! Thats what it feels like if your addicted! But it\'s very hard to quit once youve been in the game for a while! You think you find it interesting and you cant stop playing for hours! I saw someone on runescape that didnt have anything BUT runescape anymore! It consumes your life. I used to like it. It challenged me, when I gained a few levels then I was content. I had so many "friends" that my list was full. I had a "BF" that "loved" me. I would sit in Lumbridge and talk for hours. Some good things came out of it. I have had books and music recommended to me that turned out to be favorites. But once the boyfriend dumps you, your runescape character's heart breaks and thats all you can think about for a long time afterwards. If you ask me, it really does become your second life, which I think is negative rather than positive.

As bad as runescape is, you cant get mad at the people for playing it, its not just a game and you have to understand its addicting, most people that play dont even like playing it, you just want to be the best, but thats technically not possible so you play and play and play. Dont criticize them or hassle them, if you played you probably know what its like, should definetly be banned or something though, jagex totally screwed it up anyways.

i am a kid and i used to play rune scape i noticed i was getting ver unfit and i couldnt run as fast i cut down my playing and eventully stopped now i am the 2nd fastst in my class

I support this petition, Runescape sukz and it makes kids idiotic, kinda like wow, but with less people. Runescape makes people want to go out with a bronze sword and kill goblins.

i have some statements about rs 1. it only sucks to you because you suck at it. 2. you probably only played it for a couple of days or till you were like lvl 60 cmb then quit, trust me it is boring in the low levels of play e.g. freeplayer gah! 3. it sucks because either you or people you know previously or still do play it in excessive amounts. i personally only play it on weekends and during the holidays. i play a wide variety of games. 4. you should not sterotype all players of runescape as bad things because it is not true. many players of runescape are good people and are very friendly. 5. other games like WOW and stuff cost large amounts of money. runescape is a very economical game and everyone is different so people have different interests. 6. if you claim that runescape makes people angry and agressive have you read any of your own petitions? you have quit runescape yet you are still angry and aggressive i can't believe the hypocrisy! 7. Runescape gets boring over time just like when i played it. i was really into it for the 1st year then after that i settled down tons. 8. runescape does have bad graphics in low detail i admit but the highest detail graphics are pretty good and full screen too impressive for a java based game eh? 9. i do not play runescape excessively only about 8 hours a week my parents both also play it and it is a good form of communication. 10. runescape is not lame if you only see others play it try it out yourself you morons before you judge it. 11. runescape is educational in many ways. i just cant stand the nerds who only talk the language of runescape it really ruins the game. the ways it is educational is i nthe following: -economy, because of the grand exchange and trade etc. -in puzzle solving skills e.g. treasure trails and quests -in imagination purposes, e.g. it is an incredibly imaginative game that expands ones mind -in reading skill because the game requires a lot of reading
