I couldn't agree with you more on this Toni. We have been ripped off long enough and it's time we squared away these jerk manufactures who don't act responibile.
I realize this is just a rough draft, but there needs to be more terms and tougher penilties.
The COOLING OFF PERIOD should be 10 days, to coincide with the Lemon Laws of most states. And if the vehicl has been used during that time, the dealer may be entitled to a user fee, just to keep the buyers from taking advantage of the situation.

Good for you!!
We could write a book on the problems we have had with our 2003 Holiday Rambler Navigator. I would invite you to contact us. By the way we did hire an attorney in Eugene, Oregon to request all our money back from Holiday Rambler/Monaco.
Needs to cover new units and used units still under warranty. Needs to specify minimum warranty periods (1 year bumper to bumper, 3 year drive train, 5 year chassis/structural) or manufacturers may remove/reduce their warranties to avoid this bill's effects. Needs to restrict ability to resell units repurchased under this bill. Cooling off period should be from delivery, not from purchase. I bought my unit on 7/15, it was delivered on 8/3 (prep for delivery) and I didn't bring it home until 8/24 (re-fixing problems covered by the sales contracts and some new ones).
Excellent move for betterment!
The Dealers take your money w/a smile...I wonder why they aren't smiling when you come back for repairs? (we all know the answer!)
We paid a lot of money for our home on wheels, it is our only home and there ought to be laws governing their safety just as there are for cars, trucks and homes.
