I ordered a new R-Vision Trail Lite 7253 in 2000. Within the first year, the trailer had to be shipped back to the manufacturer for an extensive list of repairs, most of which the dealer refused to touch because they dealt with the exterior fiberglas. One of those problems on the list was a sinking floor. Supposedly, this was fixed along with everything else on the list. Within 8 months, the floor was sinking again. The trailer was shipped back again! This time, it was returned with no noticable improvement. Steve Tucker at R-Vision refused to acknowledge that the trailer needed the whole floor replaced. I had to trade the trailer just to get rid of it.
The RV industry is manufacturing pure junk for the most part. Whether you buy a high line RV or an entry level, the unit should be put together correctly and with materials that will hase more than a few months.
Been RVing fro closr to 25 years now and they are getting worse.
Great idea! Our motorhome is 3 years old, 16k miles, like new, and we have cracks under a bedroom slide. After just being at the factory in Yakima, WA, now that we're home in So Cal, Western RV said we must have the work done there! No mention of this when we were actually there! I think they should absorb gas, accomodations, etc. We have no clout.
could use these laws now due to problems with Terry Vaughn RV in Alvin, TX lackof concern for repairs to our new RV, we have owned it 5 months and spoken with them a minimum of 9 times now without results!
