STOP PAUL RUSESABAGINA'S HATRED SPEECHES AND NEGATIONISM OF THE 1994 GENOCIDE.

Mr. Paul Rusesabagina, the man behind the film “Hotel Rwanda� has been delivering hatred speeches and negationism of the 1994 Rwandan genocide throughout the world following the success of Hotel Rwanda and the publication of his book “An Ordinary Man�.

Mr Rusesabagina claims that Rwanda is ruled by Tutsis elite and any Hutu who cooperates is an “empty suit� or worthless. He degrades the vast majority of Rwandans who want to rebuild their nation.

Mr. Rusesabagina has redefined the Rwandan genocide as a tribal conflict resulting from the injustices of the past, echoing the propaganda of Hutu extremist ideologues and Rwandan hate media of the early 1990s. On the waves of Voice of America, on June 14, 2006, Mr. Rusesabagina stated: “Hutus killed Tutsis during a hundred days. Tutsis also killed Hutus before the hundred days, during the hundred days, and also after the hundred days; and they’re still killing them, because they are many people who are getting lost. Hutus and Tutsis at the same time, now ...� This is a pure negationism of the 1994 Genocide.

Today he is using the reputation of Hotel Rwanda to promote his political party’s, PDR-Ihumure. He calls himself a “Humanitarian� but he is a pure politician who is using the success of Hotel Rwanda and the blood of innocent people who perished during the 1994 Rwandan genocide to achieve his political aspirations.

When the film Hotel Rwanda was being prepared, Paul Rusesabagina and his allies promised to avail 5% of Hotel Rwanda profit to genocide survivors. Later on, Rusesabagina created “Hotel Rwanda Rusesabagina Foundation� (HRRF) to ''support'' orphans and women abused during the genocide. All these good intensions seem to exist on paper and in his numerous speeches rather than in reality despite the fact that a good number of foundations such as Hilton Foundation availed funds for that purpose.
