Uhm if facebook is supposed to join together alumni, college and high school students why the hell are they trying to go public...let myspace be public and keep facebook limited to what it was originated for!
The whole point of Facebook is to meet and keep in touch with friends in college. It is bad enough that Facebook opened to high school and workplaces. We dont need another MySpace. I know I'll delete my account.
As a loyal follower of facebook, I am truly saddened by the thought of opening facebook up to the public. If we want to be a part of the public space we'd be on myspace.
Are we seriously going to add yet another eHarmony or Myspace to the net? Now, it will be even easier for perverts to get access to our personal information. Please, keept this for us, the students.
I refuse to join MySpace because anyone can get on it. I enjoy Facebook because it is exclusive and one has to have at least a modicum of intelligence to be one it. MySpace is common, Facebook is elite. Let's keep it that way.
