having facebook be school oriented makes facebook safer than myspace. Although the company idea works as long as people have to prove they are part of that company just the way we students had to prove we were affiliated with our college. If facebook wants to be revamped I recamend allowing videos just like myspace and youtube
If facebook goes public, then number one it will become another myspace, and second facebook is the only place where people who cant stand Myspace and there crap can actually go, and be harsed by some wired as people who wanna make ove to u over the damn webcam.
When I found out about facebook I was excited to know that to be a member you had to be a college student. Knowing that I would be connected to other people who have chosen higher education made me feel important. When I saw that people were adding me as their friend and they were from my high school, that importance feeling we no longer. It was taken over by the fear of facebook turing into just another myspace. I hope that this petition reaches a wide number of peopole and the specialty of facebook is returned.
I have enough dummies sending me e-mails to check out their music or guys old enough to be my father or nephews contacting me. I knew Facebook at least had a majority of college students and I like it that way. It's a much more organized version of College Club and I'd appreciate it not being opened up.
