I chose to join facebook for many reasons, but mainly because it was safer than MySpace with it's particular audience. I will delete my profile if Facebook opens to the public.

Facebook should NOT ever become public. It's bad enough it's open to high school kids now. I like the college-oriented atmosphere of Facebook. It seperates Facebook from any other social network that any crackhead can join.

i signed up for facebook because of the small bit of privacy that it provided, even on the internet. opening facebook to everyone eliminates the bit of security i felt in signing up. please leave facebook the way it is.
