I support this petition. The reason facebook was created was for college students to interact, making it available to everyone defeats the purpose of having Facebook.
I support this petition. Students like to have privact from their parents. Students like facebook because of the privacy that we don't get from myspace. If parents can join facebook, what's the point of students creating one?
I support this petition- Facebook was meant for students to stay in touch about work and social life, now its just an excuse for large corporations to spam us.
Students accross the world feel comfortable on facebook beacause it is orginal and different from the other sites such as MySpace and Bebo etc .These sites are a huge issue because they are not safe and there is no guarentee of knowing who you are actually talking to. Surely we do not want Facebook to go the same way??
Facebook has always been a relatively safe haven for students. opening it up to the public makes it just another network which becomes overcrowded with spam, stalkers, and business partners. Keep it fun and for the students PLEASE

Lock out any one who is isn't a high school or college student. Little kids don't need to be using this there just a beacon for pedophiles thus were ever they go the pedos follow. Same with people that are way too old they don't need to be here either.

We don't need another MySpace. Let MySpace be MySpace and let FaceBook be FaceBook. I don't need a friend who gets stalked by a creepy stalker who claims he's 18 or w/e.
Facebook is getting to public. I know 30 year olds that are on facebook and this is a threat to young college students. Why would a 30 year old need to be on facebook. Something really needs to change.
