Wake up people. I am 32 years old. When I was growning up, my mom spanked the heck out of me when I did wrong. I promise you I never died, nor did it torment me for the rest of my life. We are loosing control of our children. People are afraid to be parent. They are afraid to spank them, and displine them. They are afraid to spend time with them anymore. You wonder why we have children walking up in schools killing other children? Because, we as parents are failing them. We no longer take the time to know what our children are doing. Yes, sometimes it's easier to say, just go play. When your kids are not home, or sneaking out, what happened to finding out where they were? Yes, I think the government has to much power over how we raise our children. I also think that a lack of displine, time, and love will hurt our children. I think we need to get involved. I am not justifying that children should be beat. There is a difference between beating a child and displine. Instead we are too involved with ourselves to try to fight this. Remember, your dreams you used to have for yourself when you were little. I know you want to have that for your children. One little problem with this is, you let go of your dreams, and no you are too busy to even know what the dreams of your child is.
