Just another example of big business being more important than the overall community well being. Paragon is an asset to the community and will continue to drive economic growth for this area if allowed to remain.
Our offroad club travels to Paragon a few times per year, and love it. we support many local merchants in doing so. Hotels, camping, groceries, gas, etc, etc. I would hate to see the park close!
There are very few places to offroad without using your own property or trespassing on someone else's. This park needs to stay open! In fact, there should be more like it.
As a Board of Directors member of a Virginia jeep club, our group brings money to the area, not to mention the great time we have at Paragon. To loose this off-road treasure would be a travesty for the local economy and for outdoor adventurers like us. SAVE PARAGAON PLEASE!
I am the President of Adirondack Jeeps, from Upstate, NY (Albany/South Glens Fals Area). We are members of East Coast 4 Wheel Drive Association Region D and are planning a club trip to Paragon in August to participate in Region D's "On The Rocks" event. Being that we are a new club, this would be most of our first trip to Paragon. I urge the Chamber of Commerce to step in on behalf of PAP, for the benefit of tourism to their area. Our Club is only one example of how far people will travel for a LEGAL place to wheel.
Please keep Paragon open. Its a true shame that this land would be developed over. These areas are far and few between and should be classifed as a jem to the enviroment.
I am only a part time off roader, beginner. But my family and I have attended many events at Paragon and would like to continue. Paragon is a place for me to bring my family and to gather with our friends and enjoy the outdoors in a way that nobody else offers. Most guys have their bachelor parties at strip clubs or bars, we gave my best friend his bachelor party at Paragon in the cold windy rain and mud and it was the best time many of us ever had.
I support this because i come from a family whom rides, dirt bikes, fourwheelers. I dont wish to see, a place where they can legally operate such vehicals, be destroyed.
My son and I spend at least one weekend per month at Paragon. It is a great way for us to spend time together. My son helps me working on my Jeep, and he enjoys our days on the trail. without Paragon, we would not have as much of an opportunity for these days together.
Keep it open!! I have enjoyed this place, my family enjoys this place. The Jeep is a great father-son project. It teaches him the proper way to 4 wheel. I travel to this place just to be legal and set good examples of our hobby. I want to be legal. I spend good money in town as well.
Losing Paragon would be a huge detriment to the off road community, as well as the local businesses in Hazleton that they support. Please keep Paragon open so that our future generation will have a safe and legal place to enjoy the outdoors. I agree with others on this....Paragon PUT Hazleton ON THE MAP!
Keep this park open. Offroading is a family affair which is much safer than many other activities in society. If this park is closed entire familys will be impacted not just a few people
if paragon park is gone to another housing development, there will be nowhere to legally wheel within a thousand miles... it bullshit, they have a lease, now let them live out the lease.
