The only year round large scale options for challenging legal offroading in the mid-atlantic are Rausche, Paragon, Tellico, and Uwharrie. Paragon brings thousands of outsiders to Hazleton each year, it would not be wise to stand by and let this happen.
The eastern United States doesn't have the amount of places to drive offroad recreationally that the western half of the country has. These places are treasured, and need to be preserved.
i have not had the pleasure of a trip yet. but this summer i am and was hoping to go for the first time. and i am a ny state resident. ny state sucks no places like this anywere. please save the park. !!!!!!
Paragon has my full support in staying operational. It is hard to find places to wheel my Jeep, and Paragon fits the bill perfect. Please keep them in operation... for them and the local community we eat, drink, and play in.
I have offroaded at many places and Paragon is my favorite. My family and I buy all our food in town there so we dont have to haul it the 5 hrs it takes to get there. depending on the time of the year we either camp or stay in a hotel. and on weekends we fill up anywhere from 3-5 times at the local gas stations. without paragon there is no reason for me to ever go near Hazleton, PA
keep it open!
Paragon is a family oriented OHV park, and one of only a handfull in the nation. Evicting the leasee (Paragon)not only closes a national tourist destination but it will also effect the surrounding communities because the tourist visitor levels will drop. That means less money for the surrounding communities.
I travel over 5 hours to off-road legally at Paragon Adventure Park. When I am there I stay at local hotels, buy local gas and shop at local stores. Please keep the park open!
Please don't take away any more land from our SPORT. You don't see anyone trying take away baseball playing fields, Why try to take away OUR playing fields???
