I am part of a group of people who live too far away to drive home after a day in the park . I use the local hotels . Buy parts at the local car part stores , Use the local mechanics when I brake . When I go to the park I never come alone . Usually with a dozen or so people who all enjoy the local restaurants. If Paragon were to close it would also affect most Penn, off road supply companys . I personally modify my vehicle spending thousands of dollars to increase my vehicle performance just to challenge myself at paragon.
Been to PAP once. Fantastice place, great asset for the community. And yes, the additional income spent there and in the surrounding area is a great bonus to the community.
And PS. come on who needs more commercial development.... (And I'm a commercial banker)
I have never been there but have heard nothing but good things and have put it on the top of my list of places to go. Please keep Paragon open, it is one of the few places like it's kind around to give the 4wheelers somewhere to do it legaly and in a semi controlled enviroment.
Tired of losing places we can legally ride. Whatever we can do to keep it open would be in our best interests, especially for the local comunity - campgrouds, restaurants, motels etc.
Paragon is hugely well known off-road park & I think everyone will agree that the park needs to stay open... especially since it gives off-roaders a legal place to wheel. Closing the park will only lead people to go wheel in and tear up areas that aren't legal to be in. I live in Texas and a couple years ago the state made it illegal to wheel in the creeks and river bottoms where SO many us us spent our weekends with our friends and 4-wheel drive vehicles. Stuff like that is exactly why we need to have privately owned & legally operated off-road parks. They are fun for people of all ages.
KEEP PARAGON OPEN!!
Paragon AP is a family oriented off road vehicle area that brings a great deal of money to the surrounding businesses. It would be a shame to see it closed. It is very well known, and host many motorsports events. We would certainly like to see the lease honored, and the park remain open for business.
As a moderator of Tri-State4x4.com We sponsor a trip to PAP just about once a month. If you force the closure of this park you are basically shutting down our sport. Do we really need another industrial park? Does the local government really want another industrail park. Is that all we care about is revenues. What other recreational opportuntites are haere in this area.
This park is nationally known bringing people in from all over the east coast. What a shame it would be to see it close. This park not only gives us a LEGAL place to get together with family and friends to wheel and share our adventures, it also is a main source of business for all the local businesses. Save Paragon!!!
This can not be done! There is no other park that can be compared to paragon! People will keep wheeling there no mater what! Even if we are driving over buildings.
It would be a wonderful thing if a compromise could be reached allowing both the adventure park to remain in opeation and alternate development to take place. It seems that the PAP property is large enough for both.
I have never been to this location however I support Paragon Adventure Park and all out door recreation areas for that matter. You should all be ashamed of your selves trying to take this away from the public over just plain greed. Were do we all go if you all keep taking it away, How do I show my kids the out doors if there is no place to take them, How do I get my kids to really understand how important the woods and forests are if theirs in none to be found, Or is that what your hoping for? I say keep it open forever!
