Keep Paragon open!!! Not only for us but for our kids. This will force people to use other land not intended for the sport which will cause major problems.
Most of the land is only accesable by 4wd. It would take major contsruction and destruction of nature to make the land accessible and usable. Also the loss of wildilfe would be devastating.
This park has become a staple in the Northeast 'wheelers' appetite. It has no doubt brought alot of tourism $'s to the area. Nobody could possibly afford to lose this valuable resource.
There is national and local support for this facility. PAP particpants bring reveune to the local business economy including but not limited to travel accomidations, fuel, auto parts and restaurants.
Without places like PAP people will resort to illegal wheeling. I'd also hate to see all that lad go away only to be developed into shopping malls or office parks etc. Keep it open, keep it nature, this country is loosing too much land way too fast just to make another buck.
Please for the love of god do not close Paragon. This is a great spot to wheel legally and for people to enjoy. If you clos edoen Paragon you might just better close down every golf course too. And every State park too.
Paragon is more than wheeling...it is friends, helping total strangers as if they were friends, charitable events, competition...and more! KEEP THE PARK!
Paragon Adventure Park is a great place for off-road adventure. I've met countless families wheeling with their children there. This is one of the last great places in the country to wheel. Yet it's not just the 4WD guys, it's open to dirtbikes, quads, hiking, mountain biking, and horses. Please help PAP and sign this petition to save the park.
PAP provides a safe and legal area for people to enjoy off-road activities. The loss of this park would be severely felt by the Hazleton and off-road communities.
This decision is obviously based on Corporate Greed. The land around the park has been developed a bit and now worth a little more. They are money hungry and want cash. Hazelton PA needs to back Paragon realizing that it is probubly one of the top 5 in bringing revenue to Hazelton PA in the way of tourism. I cant think of anything at all that would bring anyone to Hazelton other than Paragon but im giving them the benifit of the doubt and saying its in the top 5. Corporations should have to follow laws just like the rest of us and me made to honor there lease agreement they signed.
Save the Park. It seems as if everyone is trying to ban ATV riding. PAP is one of the very few places we have left to ride legally. If it shuts down, why do we bother even registering and insuring our quads. It would be a huge loss for the state as well.
Save the park!
Closing this park will have a negitive financial impact on the local economy.
Legal areas for off road adventure are becoming scarce. Please keep this park open
Paragon brings in people from all over. I drive 4 hrs from CT to wheel. Why can't Paragon be allowed to operate in areas that are not going to be developed immediately?
OHV'ers loose many miles of roads every year to wilderness closures and the Anti-Access groups.
The local OHV'ers need a place that is safe and well taken care of to recreate. If this area is taken away, the chances of them wanting to recreate in a place that is illegal increases.
Please keep Paragon open for the public.
Are there options where the county could buy the land, and then lease it back to the operators of the park? This would allow the orginal owners the ability to sell the land, and the park to remain open?

I'm a regular customer of Paragon and spend my money and time in the Hazleton area. This is a multi-million dollar sport. Many places are getting shut down leaving nowhere for people to ride legally and making it so that enthusiasts from Binghamton to Harrisburg will have to travel further away and spend there money elsewhere. Whether one admits it or not, Hazleton does not have the best reputation or is any type of "go-to" area compared to other larger cities in the Wyoming Vally corridor. This can only hurt it more. If Hazleton were to take a clue for places like Hatfield-McCoy W.Va., they can enjoy the same prosperity with all the available and challenging terrain of the area. I support Paragon and condem PCA Corp. for their actions.
with the growing sport and small locas runs closing to development, we need an open legal place large enough in our area.
please do a good thing and help keep it operating.
thanks,
