Keep it open. People need a safe and legal place to drive, keep the majority of four wheelers who live in the area concentrated in one area...that park. Right now they have a place to go, if its closed do you want the four wheelers in your backyard?
A legal off road park is a wonderful place. I enjoy the use of a park where I can challenge my skill as a driver without fear of legal retaliation. Loss of this facility will be burdon on all offroaders that want to have a good time and respect the law and the environment.
Paragon is the closest place I can legally enjoy the sport of orr roading. I travel 4 hours each way just to get there. I don't know where I'll go if they close :(
PAP is a great place to wheel! The town of Hazleton and surrounding areas benefit greatly from those that patronize PAP and the businesses, Hotels, Restaurants and the like in the area. To evict PAP from the land would hurt the economy of the area in ways that may not be currently apparent.
SAVE PAP!
We must act to save Paragon. We as individuals can unite and take action into our own hands by utilizing the same political power that wills to condemn the park as tools to fend of this juggernaut. Acting as one entity we can ward off big business and keep them out of our adventure park.
Please re-consider your position. There is fewer and fewer places to use motorized vehicles off the paved roads. It is especially difficult to find places in the eastern US that have beauty with the challenging terrain. I also know a number of people who can only enjoy the outdoors because of a physical challenge they face. Closing this park, or any others would be a serious blow to their morale.
I have a friend who is a paraplegic. He has a fourwheel drive van that he likes to go into the woods with. He never breaks any rules. He just doesn't like to be stuck to concrete in a wheelchair. How would closing another offroad park help him?
