Please keep Paragon open.
Paragon is a national attraction and is recognized by almost all in the off-road community. There would be a substantial loss of revenue to the business of Hazelton with Paragon being closed. Instead of closing this park, business of Hazelton should look to form a synergy with this enterprise.
When you have people travel for more then a day to take part in an attraction your on to something. Do you want to loose this?
I strongly support this effort to keep open a public place to enjoy a hobby that is slowly running out of places to practice it. Thanks for the petition.
Please do not sell Paragon to outside interests! Who has a copy of the EIS? Do it make sense? Do you know what the environmental impact will be when the developer, starts building infrastructure, leveling certain areas, covering the ground and potentially groundwater recharge areas! Who is reviewing the EIS?? What does it say?
Let the people organize, maintain, and guard the property. Please set up a fund to let the membership organize others around the country, if not the world to put their funds together and purchase Paragon land for more than the current offer! If the developer is offerring 30 million, lets offer 30.5million There's enough folks out there that would become members (particapating/non-partic apating) order to keep a place like Paragon in the hands of the members. As an example: 300,500 memberships at $100. Is that impossible? what about 100,050 memberships at $300/membership. That is doable?
Give Paragon a little more time to allow the people and the OHV companies that have a vested interest, to raise the money to purchase. It will be the best thing for Pennsylvania and it's surrounding states. Please save Paragon
PAP is a safe, enviromentally sound place for folks who enjoy the lifestyle and sport to enjoy thier hobby, while additionally putting alot of revenue into the Humboldt Park section of Hazleton on the weekends, when many businesses in the immediate area suffer due to the office's that are closed on the weekend. This is also a tax revenue issue. How many of us fuel up at the Exxon or the Mobil stations???
Paragon Adventure Park has drawn very positive, national attention to this area in print media, television and on the internet. Please keep this valuable local business open.
I had never heard of Hazleton, PA before PAP. Now I visit the area 3-4 times a year. If PAP were lost I would have no reason to visit or stop in Hazleton anymore.
This is a great park and not only gives us the chance to view nature as intended, also gives us a chance to enjoy the materials (trucks) we own..the best of both worlds - AJ
