This park brings in much needed tourist revenue to the Hazelton area. Close this, and Hazelton reverts back to being just a gas station and another dead Pennsylvania town.

Closing Paragon Adventure Park would have a devastating impact on organized off-road recreation in the North-East region. Growing number of law-obiding enthusiasts (in many cases with families) travel great distances to enjoy their 2-, or 4-wheel hobbies in this highly organized, safe and efficiently run environment. Paragon AP has come a long way to earn its current status and for many became a household name. I personally have introduced PAP to at least two dozen of friends who've never heard of Hazleton before—they are Paragon "regulars" now. Paragon AP and the greater Hazleton area has the potential to become nationally recognized and desired destination. Thanks to places such as Paragon AP, organized off-road recreation is growing in popularity more than ever. Closure of Paragon AP would be inexcusable, self-serving, ignorant gesture, depriving hard working tax-payers of their favorite activities. For most of us (if not all), it is a wonderful respite from the monotony of work week, a place to regenerate mind and body – in essence enabling us to lead happier, more fulfilled lives. Please, communicate, negotiate, compromise. Don't let a good thing go to waste. My family, friends and I wholeheartedly support and stand behind the management team in their efforts to save PAP. Paragon Adventure Park is a unique opportunity that needs to be kept open. As US Citizens it behooves us to support those things that keep us unique. Allowing special interests to dictate how land is used erodes the local economy and the quality of life. Please support Paragon.
