A lease is contract between two parties to make sure both of them live up to their promises! Weather or not you love Paragon (like I do), you have to agree that the land owner should not be able to go back on his word. You can make more money with someone else? TOO BAD!! You made a deal!

I've got to agree with the comment that if you take away all of the legal activities for us and our kids to participatein, they will start participating in the illegal ones. Whether that is wheelin' on private property, street racing, etc.
Im only 17 and would like to make a trip to paragon sometime in my future. Im sick of getting in trouble for illegal off roading. I need some where to go!!! dont take the closest place to me away.
SOME people are foolish and dumb. But we who wheel more than make up for our peers who act delinquently. For example, we not only pick up their trash, but also the trash left by hikers and others. That's why you'll see a large trash bag hanging off our rig. I guess, the majority of us make off-roading a hobby and also make trails a better place than we found them. And, when private "non-interested parties" rally to close off every legal place, there is no question that younger (and many older) wheelers will take to "outlaw wheeling" where new trails are forged on previously "virgin" land. This is a fact. If you close baseball fields people will play ball in shopping center parking lots. If you take away parks, more kids start roaming the streets. But my biggest "gripe" are the beaches! Off-roaders leave FAR less a mess than so many slobs who go to beaches and leave their smoke-butts, bottles and food wrappers lying around. If people are pounding a drum for a cause, leave the wheelers alone and go make a difference where it counts. Think of one last thing: In places where they give people a place to drag their cars, THATS where most people go. In places where they've closed them, people do "sideshows" or drag on public streets - endangering the people. Let me sum up by paraphrasing an old gun cliche: IF YOU OUTLAW OFF-ROADING, OFF ROADERS WILL BECOME OUTLAWS. I'm "BigM" from Jeeps Unlimited, and I hope all members from off-roading forums everywhere realize that someone's back yard closure today is little different than your back yard being closed tomorrow. I'm on the West Coast, but I support Paragon and ANY four-wheel drive park. Take away enough hobbies and our youth will grow up with nothing but gang activity to satisfy their otherwise normal pursuit of adventure.
I hope that the land owners will see the outpouring of support for the park. Come on out, we'll let you guys ride too. I will be happy to share a seat with you so you can find out what it's all about. Save Paragon!!!
With a lack of access to public lands on the east coast, private lands are of huge importance to those of us that wish to four wheel legally. Kyle and Steph have done a great job with that land, maintaining it and the area wildlife. I have been going there since the park opened, it's a six hour drive for me, and I come as often as time and money allow. I have gone all over the country doing the four wheeling that I love. Utah,Arizona,North carolina,Maine,Vermont,Ne w Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, and some others, and their place has terrain to match or beat most of them, it is a real world class place. It would sadden me deeply to lose it!
Please keep paragon open! There is more land around Hazleton that does not include our park! This is a huge part of the offroad community and loosing it will hurt the industry and the area as a whole.
any trail ride that i have been on, I've never seen animal killing. most jeepers are part of tread lighty, we also pick up trash we see. we are trying to perserve every trail we ride on. please keep the trail open for future generations.
Paragon is and always will be a Pinnacle of the sport for our community, by losing it, we're losing a huge part of us. Honor your agreement and let them stay for the term of their lease.
I come to Hazelton several times a year and spend the weekend. I spend my time at PAP while my family shops. The local community will feel the loss if this unjust litigation is successful.
