Paragon is a growing concern that has already contributed to the economy of Hazelton. Doubtless it will continue to grow, if allowed to, so that its contribution to Hazelton's economy will continue to grow. This is not something that should be ignored.
although i have never gotten my own truck out there.... it still i the only legal place to wheel.... i'm getting sick of going out somewhere and trying to have fun and end up getting a ticket for driving offroad
Many offroaders frequent Paragon and drive upwards of 15 hours each way to visit with their friends from around the nation and enjoy offroading in PA. Not only would losing Paragon hurt those who frequent it most, it will also hurt the economy of the region. These people camp, buy incredible amounts of gas, purchase food at both stores and restaurants, support the local powersports businesses, etc. This is not some small cult following, this is the voice of tens of thousands of offroaders that will not be frequenting your region without Paragon. This is the voice of small business owners and their right to have a state that backs them and doesn't try to kick them out at the site of making a few dollars in the short run. This is the voice of having a bit of wilderness left over in this nation, rather than clear cut runways. This, is the voice of reason.
Hopefully the state of PA can see past it's own nose on this issue.

The off road hobby is not just about a park here, it is about jobs in the local area as well as jobs at companies who supply parts for the hobby. It is a much broader and larger issue than "just" a park.
Apperantly Rep. Todd Eachus doesn't understand this.
4 wheel parks and wheeling are my passion. We are loosing places for us to enjoy our hobby everyday do to public lands being closed by our government and private entities revoking leases. How would you guys like it if they closed down your Private Golf course to build a shopping mall or something else. We need our open spaces to stay open. Please let Paragon be. It has it place just like a golf course does.
This park is a great place for people to get out an enjoy nature with friends and family. It would be a crime to destroy the beauty of the park by turning into urban sprawl
I may never get see it living in TX, but what a shame it would be for such a great place to be closed because some greedy landowners want out of a lease contract they agreed to.
Please keep this park open. There are so few places left to LEGALLY off-road anymore and enjoy the beauty of the backcountry. This would truly be a great loss to all that have enjoyed the park in the past and for those who have still been dreaming about going...
