Although I have moved out of the area, Paragon provides an incentive for me to come home to NEPA to visit relatives and of course to drop money into the local economy.
I wonder how much support this would get if you were threatening a golf course instead of an off road park???
Off Roaders pay taxes too where's our public land??!
If your going to clear space for a cargo airport or what not, why not use a golf course? It's already pretty flat and cleared. Why destroy something that's rare and loved?
I hope someone unveils the fact that the judge hearing the case-who has now decided to rule against Paragon, is involved with PCA corporation and stands to make money on this deal too. He should be impeached from his position as judge. Democracy or dictatorship judge?
Leave Paragon alone. They offer one of the very few places to operate off-road vehicles in the state. Let the people have a place to do this. I see more was land that is paved onl only seves as a parking lot rather then an area like Paragon that has people and nature interact.
How come, in all of PA, the only land they want is one of the best off road parks not only in PA but on the east coast? I think this is a case of discrimantion!
Paragon is a great place for people of all ages. Closing it down would be terrible for everyone. Just think of all the farmer's land that is going to be ripped up because there is no place to legally go
i say we go to the CEO of PCA corp.'s house and wheel all over his beautifully landscaped property and well see how much he wants to get rid of Pargon then!!!
Please save PARAGON. I bring people to the park from as far away as Massachusetts and South Carolina. Paragon AP has been a destination for a long time and one of the best resources off road enthusiasts have on the east coast.
Paragon Adventure Park puts Hazelton on the map for all the right reasons, significantly increases tourism and business in the area, and any termination of the lease would be a detriment to the region that any subsequent development could not fill.
