Keep Paragon Open! It's better to come to a park like this where there are designated trails than to have everybody go out and cut their own trails across the state!
why destroy land that is not being abused?developing the land is the worst thing that could possibly be done Pa. is turning into a over developed area on its own, leave the park for us to legally wheel our rigs!
this is rediculous if you ask me...why would you take away one of the only legal places we have to wheel. And for a stupid airport. If the airport goes in this is going to cause us to move to random fields and yards yet again. save paragon!
The revenue generated by the existing park and the people who attend it must by far outweigh the revenue that will be generated by the airport. Not to mention the 1.6 BILLION dollars that the taxpayers will need to cough up to pay for the airport. And for some reason, they can afford this but can't give allentown the extra 3 million dollars it needs to improve it's public transportation. I say next election day, get rid of every fat cat politician who looked to line his pockets with this deal, including everyones pal Rendell.
it's a real shame what a bunch of stuffed shirts can do if there is $$$$ involed.we are dealing with the same shit where i am from.i've have wheeled at paragon a least 50 times since they have opened.i'm from around the altoona area and the are shuting down a place called merf.it's an old coal stripping we've wheeled at for over 15 years.the city water auth.is taking control of the ground.so as the say control terrorist,BULLSHIT.we have lost over 10,000 acres in the past 5 years.it's just sad that you can't go out and enjoy a nice day in the wood's with your friends.
closing one of the very few legal off road parks in the region is just insane. not to mention all the business that will be lost to the town of Hazelton because if it. not only does it hurt the 4x4 coumnity but the coumnity of Hazelton.
One Small blip on the map in an ocean of desparity. Once again the working man takes the fall. Provide Economic growth while maintaining quality of life. Resurect Paragon in a new location or build The Anthracite Regional Trail Sytem.
