There are very few places in PA, and on the east coast for that matter, where ATV/OHV/4x4 enthusiasts can safely and legally participate in such recreational activities. Please don't the our sport/hobby lose, yet another, off road park.
Please keep this park opened, will drop ecomony more due to lessening the amount of employment or business in the park. It will be regreted if the park is allowed to sell. If its sold, whoever buys it, is gonna knock it down and building houses there.
Please help keep Paragon Adventure Park alive. It has greatly helped the local community and is a great place to promote family activities. Off-roading is a great family activity everyone can enjoy and closing PAP means taking away one more place that we can enjoy time with our families. It will also greatly negatively impact the local economy.
Paragon is too much of on asset to the economy in so many ways - they protect nature, have invested their life savings in this park to allow over 20,000 to enjoy safe, legal off-roading. They gave the surrounding business expotential growth since opening. This situation is WRONG and must be STOPPED. Please!!!!
I've been putting together a trip from NC to PA for the sole purpose of visiting this very park. I believe the lessor and the community under estimate the impact PAP really has on your economy.
Closing Paragon will have detrimental effects on the area. The park brings untold thousands if not millions of dollars into the local economy. It's a mecca for 4x4 enthusiasts not only in the state but also throughout the Eastern United States!
I truly appreciate having somewhere to legally take my family to enjoy nature and enjoy the sport of off road driving. My two young sons love it too. With the huge Tri-State population, there will always be people who want to use off road vehicles. Providing a legal place to do so only makes sense.
To close a Off-Road park is unimaginable. Normal sports players get their fields and courts. But yes when it come to Off-Roding motocross tracks get shut down, and 4-wheel drive spots get shut down. We as a group pick up after ourselves and take more trash out than we bring, save for a few people than get told over and over to do as what others do. To only follow the people that do wrong is selfish and bring the 4x4 community down as a whole, when most people go out to have fun with family and friends. I hope you will look on the brighter side of this issue and keep Paragon open many memorable time have happened there and many more will.
This is such an important place for the off-road community. This park is very important to the economic developement of Hazleton and the lives of the family that started it. Please don't take this park away.
4x4 recreation should not be shut down. It should be supported as an outlet for the youth and young americans to channel there talents and passion into a constructive hobby such as off-roading.
From experience, if there is not anywhere legal to go, people will just make their own trails on property they should not be on...cutting down trees, etc...Keep the offroad parks open
for alost 5 years i've been traveling to hazelton to go to PAP and enjoy the park. without Paragon Adventure Park i would have no reason to visit Hazelton. Paragon Park PUT Hazelton on the map.
