Places like Paragon are very rare. A friend and myself drove accross the state to get there. Its hard to get off road and have fun with friends or family anymore. Its especially a fun time for kids, I have loved this stuff since I was a child, don't take that joy away from the children.

Paragon Adventure Park is one of two remaining legal OHV operation areas in the northeast. Selling this land to a developer would have a profound effect on the 4WD industry on the entire east coast. Closing the park will effect many businesses. Patrons of the park would be forced to crowd into a smaller venue in Tower City, or begin to use private and state land to pursue thier hobbys.
Also, the park generates a significant amount of income for local businesses such as hotels, gas stations, restaurants, and auto parts stores. As such, closing the park will have a negative impact on these local businesses and the local economy as a whole.
Wherehouse space is everywhere, OHV useage areas are few and far between. The park needs to stay.

Paragon is a land mark, it put's hazleton on the map. IT MUST STAY OPEN. We keep running out of places like this to go. Paragon is great fun, and brings great people together. Please dont break up our extremly large family.

Please keep this park open. It draws people from many states who stay in local hotels and eat at local restuarants and buy from local businesses. There are very few places like this for us to go. Please uphold the lease agreement that is in place.

Closing OHV areas will not solve any problems, but create more. When there is no legal place to go, sadly, certain people will go illegal places and cause more damage in an uncontrolled setting.
