what will be left for us to play in or our offsprings. It seems all recreation areas are being taken away. I beleive it is time all Mud Hogs should get together and do something about it.
My first off-road experience as a driver of my own vehicle was at Paragon. I live in Tennessee and plan on making a yearly trip to Paragon because the park was so awesome. Please keep it open--people come from all over to enjoy the trails!
A place with a reputation and history like this deserves to stay open. There are so few places around this area that closing another one is a sad idea!!!!
Yes, we need the jobs that the airport would create. But Paragon and the airport should not have to be mutually exclusive. Find a creative way to allow both to exist, compromise on land seizure and allow both sides to enjoy success.
think people think. first of all if you close this park there will be no real legal places for us to take our 4x4 vehicles. would you rather have us riding legal trails or tearing up state land? legal sounds better to me. also think about all the money the area will loose in every aspect. no more paragon no more visitors from far distances. think about all the money the business' will loose if they close paragon. if your a local business owner i highly suggest you also step in and have your say in why paragon should NOT CLOSE.PLEASE do NOT close PARAGON!
Keep Paragon open, I for one have never been there. But, this park has an outstanding reputation and should remain open. I guess I'll try and get there this year and see what fun I have been missing. BTW, I would be driving from Michigan to wheel my 83 CJ7.
I have wanted to go since i heard about it a couple years ago, since then i have been in the army with no chance to go. currently i am in iraq and am looking forward to coming home to a trip to paragon
I just got an '07 Jeep Wrangler and want to legally off road. Paragon has an good rep for being the place to be for off roading. I really would love to give the trails a try to see how the '07 holds up. Please times a million keep Paragon OPEN.
4x4king has no real understanding of the forces in our world that are against the common man, taking away paragon is just another way to make us compliant to the corporate greed that has infected our society. i invite him to contact me @rubicondon2004@yahoo.com for futher debate and we shall see whom the idiot is!
I am looking forward to going to paragon a few times in the spring and summer. Take a look at this petition and see how much business Paragon brings to the area. Find another place for your "airport project" it can't be that hard.
HONOR THE LEASE, and DON'T CLOSE PARAGON!
This is fun place for family and friends to spend quality time together. Dont close something that is beneficial to so many people who want some good clean fun and adventure.
Please save Paragon it serves as a wonderfull place for families like mine to bond together. We are an atv'ing family and it keeps our kids out of trouble and off the streets. Don't take away one of the few places we have left to ride. It would also be financially devistating to the community around paragon. Thenk you. Th Nolan's syracuse N.Y.
OHV parks like Paragon are far to few in number. Responsible use of land for off road use is more enviromentaly safe than building an airport. Please save the park.
People who say 4Wheelers destroy the land dont know our sport or the people who love it so much. To say that we are destroying the land and an airport wont is absolutly ridiculous and anyone w/ half the intelligence of a pea would see that. We are trying to save the land - not destroy it w/ a bulldozer.
We (off-road enthusiasts) have to deal with people who feel we destroy nature and wildlife. When we have places to go without causing collateral damage it's great for everyone and even brings business to the area. Why do the conservationists not step in when someone wants to turn a massive plot of beautiful, enjoyable land forever everyone INTO AN AIRPORT!!! creating noise and pollution..... really good
This is a joke. It is private land. You guys always bitch about the fees and look what happens. Maybe you clowns should have paid more, then the land owner wouldn;t have found this better deal. Don Diehl, you are an idiot
