I love to wheel when I get a chance to. Its my one way to get out in the woods as I am not able to do the longer hikes. Places like this give me the oppertunity to do that!
Parks like paragon are a dieing breed, we should keep it open for future generations. Not to mention wrecking the land would destroy many acres of much needed habitat for native animals.
This is one of our last safe havens for offroading on the east coast not to mention some absolutely beautiful wilderness... it would be a shame to destroy it.
Paragon is one of very few East Coast offroad riding areas. Please keep nature and the environment available to us families who want to share experiences with our children. Dont pave it!
Developing this land would drive off wildlife. I am always amazed how many deer, raccoons, birds,a nd snakes I see while visiting the park. Think of the tourism dollars you would be missing out on, how many restaurants, hotels, and campsites would suffer because of this decision.
Paragon can not be closed. Paragon provides a safe environment to people to go and enjoy themselves. It allows new relationships to be made among the poeple whom attend. Don't close Paragon, it will hurt alot of people.
I've only been to Paragon once, but it was a 5 hour drive, and definately worth it. We need legal places to wheel, and Paragon was clean, safe, and most importantly Safe...
Keep it alive...
as one of the only leagal places to wheel in the northeast, there is no leagal place to do what it is that we do. they should be prepared to face the facts that we will find another outlet in which to wheel. LEGAL OR NOT!im sure that the law will not take kindly to the fact that they will have countless unhappy wheelers running about with no place to have fun. if they take this away, whats next?
Paragon serves an important public need for a specialized form of recreation. As off highway vehicle recreation grows innovative businesses like Paragons will be increasingly important
We get places to legally off road and they try to take them away with all the land in the state to put an airport. Soon there will be no scenic places left that dont have un used buildings that close up and sit there takeing away from the charm of country liveing. I'm tired of seeing companys put up buildings close them down and let them decay sitting there. At least the off road park keeps the country charm and keeps people from driveing on other peoples land.
There is way too much development and not enough play areas. Places like this should stay open. If you have places like this it gives the younger crowd something better to do than play video games all day or get into trouble. It gives the older crowd someplace to show their wisdom.
its been the best time ive ever wheelin. we already have too many airports and toll brother houses. dont need more. been to the park before. great times. want to go back.
We love 4wheeling in NV and I hope you all are able to keep your trails!! best of luck...ps this case inspired an assignment of mine in my law class, thanks and I hope all pans out for the best!
