well either they can leave it open and have good local business and lots of happy people or close it and have lots of people breaking the law just to have a little fun
me and the Early bronco cllub I am a member of drive all the way from Fredericksburg, Va just to offroad legally just like the guy in the jeep club. It is a great place to go wheeling and a wonderful family experience. There are tons of airports around. But we need to keep this park open it's one of only a couple we have on the east coast.
This the best place to go riding around. I live 1 1/2 hr away but i do not mind it cause I always have a great time there and so do all my friends who go there. It is a great time to ride our atvs and hang out with friends who I do not see for days weeks or even months. When i heard that PAP was closing I was really disapointted.
This is disgusting to destroy a historic park and nature to build an airport? Not only are we losing spots to offroad and enjoy nature but were destroying the enviorment. The owners of the land (that want to sell the land) make me sick, they will make more money on selling the land then by leasing it, disgusting!
It is the only place on the East Coast I stop at on my way and from my in-laws in the states of NY and MA. Its been part of my family now for years and your gonna take that away? What kind of corporate crap is that? What happen to safe off-road fun for our families. How would you like it if we bulldozed the capitol building for a skate park?
The only people that need (want) the cargo airport are the developers and fatcats, then they go away and the people have boondoggle to pay for, for a generation.
I never got to make it out to paragon. I finally got a jeep to take and it closes. I hope everything works out and I will be there when it reopens(fingers crossed).
