Save ABC daytime drama: remove Frons
Published February 19, 2007
ABC's Daytime has lost touch with viewers and the wants and needs of fans. By firing or marginalizing veteran actors, killing off beloved characters, eliminating character-driven storylines in favor of short-term, plot-driven stories with no substance, and focusing on violent or dark, depressing themes, ABC President Brian Frons and his executive producers are destroying the foundations of daytime drama. Frons must be removed as Daytime President and his replacement must show respect to fans and the genre of entertainment they love.
