because Carnivale is one f those rare instances of inspired storytelling - something rarely seen on television. Every thing about it is compelling: the acting, the intricate plot, the characters, plus it's one of the most beautifully filmed things I've ever seen. Subscribers pay to watch HBO, and to me, that obliges HBO to finish what it starts. To lamely assert that the series came " to a natural end" not only disappoints Carnivale viewers, it insults their intelligence. Bring it back HBO, or be counted as just another part of medicore T.V.

We have rented the last two seasons on dvd and were left hanging just like everyone else. We clicked on the net to see when it was going to start again, as this was enough to justify subscribing to an otherwise underwhelming hbo, only to find out it's being CANCELLED! WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE THINKING! BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!

Carnivale is the most stunning and original television I have seen; it's unique, so it can't be compared with other shows: a class of its own. The concept, the scripts, the sets, the casting, the acting, the direction, the pace - brilliant stuff. Series three? Oh yes, and the rest please! Take us through the story, right to the end.

By far the greatest HBO series ever made. Better yet, best series on TV ever! Bring back Carnival...and bring back some of your customers! You got us hooked on something and then snatched it away without giving us any kind of closure. Do the right thing...bring back carnival and make the fans happy.

I support this petition. Carnivale was an original,insightful show unlike other shows on HBO or other stations. In a world where there is little to be listed as unique, this series was a leader in originality.

one of the best shows to ever be made deserves to come back and enchant an even greater audience for a third season. i'm in england and have never seen anythiing like carnivale before and it knocked my socks off! we need this type of show as an antidote to the mindless crap we are bombarded with everyday, come on bring it back HBO, you wont be sorry.

You absolutely have to re-strat the show - or at least put some closure - Big LOVE? Please - this is no substitution for the deeply poetic and energizing showdown between the age old battle between good and evil. The show had immpecable writing, great sub plots and extensively developed characters that drew my mother and my whole workplace, friends and many many others in - you can't leave it like that! It's a crime to mature minds! It is like watching a great movie - and the film cuts out and your told to go home after you paid $8.00 and only had 20 min to go and were about to find out "who done it". I will never forgive HBO for this - and what a waste - all that development $ etc and then what - nothing but pissed off people - believe me - that won't pay off!

Just got back from the Carnivale convention. There are SO MANY LOYAL and devoted watchers. HBO, give us a chance to prove ourselves, make a Season Three. I bet it'll have a spectacular viewing rate.
