Carnivale needs more time! It's cowardly and lame to take such a risk, and produce something so visionary, only to lose courage after two seasons. Finish it!
Carnivale was the only truly imaginative show on TV. "Lost" is a cheap homage by comparison. Carnivale is groundbreaking and deserves another year, at least, to find its niche.
Thank you HBO for giving me two seasonsof the best TV ever with Carnivale. DAMN you HBO for not following through with it - amd now we have to deal with crap like "The Comeback"? Shame on you - unless you come to your senses and renew Carnivale.

After just one episode (season 2) I was hooked. I added it to my weekly schedule along with Lost, Desperate Housewives, and Amazing Race as one of the best quality shows available. I'll cancel HBO if it doesn't return.
I read else where online that there is a 2 million plus fan base?! Hello? Where the heck are you now? Both petions I have signed don't even have 10,000! We will never get HBO to listen with these numbers, tell everyone to sign and the ones without the internet to call or snail mail HBO! Come on People think of our Fture SUNDAYS!!!
I think this is the best series going on HBO... good vs evil. Carnivale Sunday nights is the best and got me through many a hard work week looking forward to the next episode and watching it again and again to see what I may have missed! PLEASE PLEASE RENEW FOR A THIRD SEASON!

I highly disagree with HBO's position that two seasons "told the story very well" (quoted from news release on HBO website from 5/11/05). Having true closure to the story is telling the story well. Ending the show and leaving dedicated viewers with so many unanswered questions, well is simply just telling some of the story. I don't consider that tell the story well.
Unlike Carolyn Strauss, president of entertainment at HBO, I don't believe that "the show had come to a natural end." How very disappointing to have so many questions unanswered and not to even know the fate of fate several main characters. Are they alive or dead?? Very untidy ending , HBO. Shame!
Carnivale is the only reason I had HBO too. I had watched it originally at a freinds house and we are both huge fans. It is a rediculous slap in the face for HBO to say that the series came to a natural end. Did they even watch the season two finale? It was a cliffhanger! The decent thing to do would have been to make one two hour finale show. I won't ever watch another of their programs. I don't ever want to be so dissappointed again, and they could do it again. Good bye HBO unless you make this right!
Carnivale is such a unique and engaging series. I gasped when I was told it was cancelled. You can't end the show with not telling us what happens! It would bea mystery comparable to the disappearence of Jimmy Hoffa or D.B. Cooper. This show got lost in the shuffle of The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Sex in the City, Deadwood, and the very lame Entourage. Promote this show because it deserves the public attention!
Carnivale was the most amazing show in history ever it had everything the viewing public needed, from mystery, to horror, to romance to humour. it was the best show of all time. please bring it back to break the monotony of everyday television.

I was so thouroughly dissappointed hearing this wonderful show was cancelled. It was the only show I watched with pleasure and enthusiasm. I am ready to start a holy war! There are so many lame shows, I'm sorry, but I am getting a little tired of seeing selfish characters being portrayed in an array of television programs. Give us back the characters we love, can relate to and make us think! BRING CARNIVALE BACK!

One of the best and most compelling shows ever produced by HBO. Hopefully HBO has the sense to continue this intriguing program until it can at least come to a proper conclusion. If not, a two hour special to wrap up the plot lines would be the right thing to do for all of the loyal fans who watched it.
I am soon going to have very little reason to continue my HBO subscription.

This is THE best show on television. The actors in this are wonderful and the story is something I looked forward to every week. Now I have nothing to watch because we have all these lame shows on televison that dont actually have a story with them. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

Best shows on television. The quality and creativity of the show makes it one of HBO's best series. It's amazing how HBO doesn't recognize quality. It's beyond comprehension.
This is just another example of TPTB having no clue or care as to the subscribers of HBO. REALLY now.. I mean how is it that you can say this story has been told properly?? I rarely see TV series bcos they come only once or twice a week and hence i tend to miss episodes.
But i haven't been able to miss a single carnivale episode, but now look what HBO has done, what is this.

Carnivale is the only reason I check the HBO listings. Finish the the story, I don't care how many seasons it takes. If you don't want to show it on HBO, atleast put it on DVD, I already have the first 2 seasons.
This was the best show by far that HBO has every made, and now they go and kill it off. They are some real idiots, especially now that the Sopranos is at its end, HBO will just be a bunch of crappy movies that are aired over and over and over.
It is so unfair to paying viewers to "yank" a show without resolving the loose ends or having a finale. The last episode of the season was deliberately designed as a "cliffhanger." And now, it is the paying viewers who are being tossed over that cliff.
Unlike shows that have main selling points in "reality" situations, Carnivale was a wholly original and fresh take on the age old clash of good and evil. To take it off the air without the consideration of a series finale to answer questions is basically beating a loyal fan base with the stupidity stick. Television is dumbed down enough without takin one of the few creative and smart shows off. DON'T PUNISH US JUST BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT TO WATCH STUPID TELEVISION!
I am getting married in August and Carnivale has been my buddies and my "poker night". PLEASE don't take it off the air. I need Carnivale to keep me sane and give me a night away from the wife!
Although I am sad to see Six Feet Under leave, at least i know that this is the final season. Carnivale fans deserved the same consideration, and got none! This was an exceptional cast and story line and, if only to make a statement about valuing your subscribers, there should be a third season. Please.. anounce that this is the final season and show some respect to the very fans who have made you what you are!
