Carnivale was an amazing show with an intricate plot and fascinating characters. To leave the fans hanging is simply a slap in the face to our devotion to such a great show. Shame on HBO!
Please bring back Carnivale, every week I couldnt wait until Sunday so I could see what was going to happen next.It killed me when there was the break between 1st and 2nd season and now I wont ever know what was suppose to be because HBO is worried about cost. Well if HBO was actually worried about their customers we wouldnt have to be signing this petition to keep one of the greatest shows EVER on tv stay there for at least one more season to tie the loose ends up. The last episode didnt clarify anything and it left it open because...well I dont have to explain we all know what we were left with. Please HBO bring back Carnivale or if not I will NEVER EVER subscribe EVER AGAIN in my lifetime. This was my fav show and I miss it....still actually in mourning :)
I cannot understand what is happening to HBO, every show I've fallen completely in love with is going away, or is gone. Oz, Sex in the City, Six Feet Under... Soprano's is almost through, and now there is going to be no more Carnivale and for what? Entourage... Unscripted.. The Comeback? Please bring back the real television. HBO has turned into a teenybopper cable station, and to be honest it's pitifully awful. Bring back Carnivale for goodness sakes, don't leave us hanging, give us closure at the very least.
Cancelling my subscription. HBO has gone so downhill as a network it doesn't even renew an emmy award winning show with a dedicated fanbase. Spend some money - answer the unanswered questions, give us another season. Then I won't cancel. Otherwise there is nothing worth watching on HBO anymore
If HBO has any decency and wants to actually listen to its customers, you'll bring Carnivale back- what happened, did you get death threats from the Vatican or something?- Since when does HBO shy away from controversy?

It is a shame that just when Carnivale began to reach maturity as a show, it is being cancelled. Truly good stories are all about extraordinary chracters...This show has them...let it reach its potential.
As one of many, please do not cancel Carnivale. This show is bigger than Sopranos, better story plot, very addictiing and there are so many that adore this show. It's such a huge disappointment that you would consider cancelling of of the truely engaging shows created.

I have the Season 1 DVD and I'll buy Season 2 but without Carnivale I will not buy HBO. Please bring back the series or give Dan Knauf a way to finish his story!
One of the reasons given for the cancellation of Carnivale was the high cost of production for a period piece. It doesn't make sense to cancel an established, popular show to replace it with "Rome" another costly period program. Please bring back Carnivale.
The only reason I subscribed to HBO is because I enjoyed watching this show. I will probably cancel my subscription if this show does not return. It is very disappointing to get so involved in a show and not being able to see it through. At least have enough respect for the customers to do that for them. I hate to be left hanging.
This is the most amazing show i have EVER seen. It is well written and really a stellar overall production. The ONLY thing that would ruin this is to leave ends untied such as it is! Bring it back for at least one season and tie up all those lose ends!! It is absolutely fantastic please do not leave it unfinished!
With Carnivale gone, and Sex In the City and Sopranos drawing to an end, what is the sense in subscribing to HBO anymore. I can't believe that HBO thinks they have answered all the questions they started. I only have more questions unanswered after the 2nd season.
I am moving to a new city in September, and one of the first things I was planning on doing was getting HBO to make sure I did not miss my Carnivale episodes, but now with the show canceled, there really is no need for HBO.
Every piece of rap-vision runs for 10 seasons beyond its scent of the least bit of talent, but the best show on television gets cancelled just when it starts coming together? Bring it back!
You had "Mind of the Married Man" on for 2 seasons and you can't have "Carnivale" on for 3? Come come now, HBO. Don't disappoint me. "Carnivale" is ahead of its time and as the one network seen as a haven for true artists, you should be too. Please save this program.

Please bring Carnivale back in one way or another, i.e. movie, book, deleted scenes dvd, etc... HBO cannot end it in the midst of the story!!! There must be a conclusion of some sort. HBO OWES US AT LEAST THAT MUCH!!!! HBO CANNOT LEAVE THEIR VIEWERS HANGING LIKE THIS!!!
Why do all these dumb producers keep on ending quality shows & keep on continuing the cr@p. First we had Twin Peaks, Futurama and Firefly, now Carnivale. I cannot understand their decisions

I just heard today (8-8-05) that they cancelled it and thought the person that told me was clearly mistaken. I can't even believe it. PLEASE BRING IT BACK. BEST SHOW ON TV, HANDS DOWN...
