If canceling Carnivale is an example of the knee jerk decisions made by HBO, I want nothing to do with a subscription. Please consider bringing back this amazingly, well-written show.
HBO must be run by a bunch of stuffed suits who can't recognize loyal viewership and top quality, origional programming. Carnivale is brilliant and HBO is run by a team of fools if they don't reconsider a very stupid decision.

Why cancel Carnivale? It was an original, thought compelling drama that was a crucial part of HBO's impressive roster. There is demand for this show, bring it back!

Bring this show back, this is like leaving the last three episodes of band of brothers out. HBO has made a show that has the ability to become the biggest hit in television, I never once saw an ad for carnivale, and everyone I have shown the first season to has wept upon discovering there would be no resolution.

I can't believe Carnivale isn't coming back. the show isn't over yet. Carnivale was my favorite show ever. Now HBO on sundays are getting tedious. They are keeping that horrible show THe Comeback..and cancelling the best show of all time. Carnivale. Please bring it back, or i will talk everyone i know into cancelling their HBO subscriptions.
If anything, please bring it back in order to end it properly--to let the viewers know what happens to the characters (as in Six Feet Under--what a great ending!)
I got hooked watching Carnivale after renting it on Netflix last month - My husanfd & I have watched almost all of Season one in marathon session. We're hooked, now it's gone! I'm jonesing for a fix & now I hate HBO. I'm cancelling my subscription until Carnivale comes back.
I was shocked and outraged to hear that Carnivale was canceled. It was my favorite show of all time and we canceled HBO because I couldn't watch it anymore. It was like a fire died inside of me. Carnivale needs to be brough back so all the questions can be answered!!

none of the new shows on hbo could hold a candle to carnivale!they left so much unanswered and so many different directions that this show can take!they even stopped showing re-runs of carnivale on hbo on demand!!
I'll tell you what got me started watching Carnivale. It was the behind-the-scenes promos HBO ran before the first season. This is a complex, twisty, highly-detailed show. I don't like watching a show for the first time late in the season and not knowing what's going on. I am currently renting Six Feet Under from the first season for that reason. You re-ran the first season before the second season started, but I'll tell you honestly... I saw very little promotion for it. If (hopefully when) you order the third season of Carnivale, you've got the perfect marketing tool right here in your hands. "The show that HBO viewers DEMANDED be brought back!" The show that wouldn't die.
What a kick in the gut. My wife turned me onto the show and I couldn't get enough... I have to go home tonight and tell her that HBO did this..its going to break her heart guess my cable bill just got cheaper
Loyal HBO subscriber - my parents/I since the 80's Carnivale must continue!! How could such a masterpiece be cancelled? Too expensive you say? Well, I'd pay for it and it is worth every cent you invested! Let the writer continue the story as it is meant to be.
Carnivale was a series that made people think. The series created a myth something that modern movies and television is missing. Thank you for giving us something to believe in and something for us to learn from.
My boyfriend got me hooked on this show and now it's all I can think about. How dare you cancel it and leave us hanging waiting for an ending that thanks to you well never get.
This is by far the best series EVER... especially the best series HBO ever has had. With an amazing cast, this emmy awarding winning show MUST stay on the air! I've canceled my HBO subscription along with my friends. Thanks for nothing, HBO.
Here's the thing...first, like all those before me, I'd like to say that Carnivale is one of the most brilliant and beautifully well done programs ever to be broadcast, and was a pillar of excellence that allowed HBO to stand up to it's own network standards of not being "tv" but "HBO"...an institution which stands alone...so, why cancel it? Second, the style of storytelling was compelling and captivating, and the show maintains a very passionate, very loyal (and since the conclusion of Season 2 and the announcment of the show's cancellation, a very saddened and depressed) audience. Despite what the demographics conducted by what would seem, to me and the many other fans of the show, an inadequate but more importantly inaccurate surveyor, the show does have many followers. These followers are now floundering amidst the limbo of cable tv, in search of closure...which seems may never come. Third, Carnivale had far more dramatic value than say The Wire (a show which, as I understand it, is watched, let alone known about, by a very small number of people), and even ROME (which has its strengths, no doubt, but nothing of the charisma or characters that Carnivale had) yet it is not on the air and these other shows are. This makes so little sense. Not to mention that the show garnered Emmy nominations, and had picked up in its pace and action...it had many people clinching the edge of their seats, and the Season 2 finale was one of the most incredible season closes I've ever seen, but in NO WAY WHATSOEVER was this show a telling of a completed story. The Season 2 close was an awesome cliffhanger...one that will never be concluded...until you bring the show back. It's not fair to toy with our emotions like this. Please...at the very least another season, even half a season to tie off the loose ends...just complete the story. Please don't let this show disappear into the ann

Please bring Carnivale back. It was one of the most thought provoking and interesting TV programs. There's so little to choose from these days, that it's unfair not to continue it for those who like more than light-hearted stories!
