Good shows like this deserve better. There is little material of this quality around anymore. To be subjected to the vile and inane in the absence of this great program is a fate I hope not to experience any time soon.
Please bring back Carnivale..I'm 42 and believe it's the most thought provoking program I've ever seen. There's barely anythhing worth watching anymore.
I live in Sweden and just two months ago I made a blind puchase of the first season on DVD, and I loved it. But I probably will not buy the second if it leaves everything with a cliffhanger, and no third season...too bad on such an excellent TV show. :(

Carnivale is why I subscribed to HBO. I thought I would maintain my subscription until the next season, but if HBO drops Carnivale, then I will drop HBO.

Do the powers at be at HBO watch their own shows? If they did, they would see how wonderful Carnivale is and how mindless some of the shows they try to pass off as quality entertainment are. Wake up HBO, you are missing it.
Carnivale is the best series on HBO. It has everything: A great story, wonderful acting, the most realistic and unusual sets I have seen on TV. It would be great to have at least one more season to bring the story lines to an end.
Carnivale was the bane of my exsitance. now my life is incomplete. I would ignore my husband for that show and it was the only show that i could do that too. all other shows would lose my attention. I just found out that the show was cancelled. Now my life is empty. I agree with Kyle, if they were going to cancell the show they should have done a movie to finish the unanswered questions. Like what is going to happen to Sophie, did brother Justin come back to life, Is Ben going to be okay and what about Lilley is she going to find out that Jonesie is dead. And what about Loads and Ruth. TOO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED. Please bring back the show and finish. BEST SHOW EVER and i stand by it.
Carnival is the best! You have got to bring it back ! I paid my HMO bill for a year and a half waiting for season II to begin. Instead of canning the show why don't you can the moron who took a hit show that just won 5 of 7 Emmy nominations make the fans wait 18 months for the 13th episode then dropped if from the line up!
Someone at HBO should be fired. This show is one of the best on television. If ratings are a problem, the blame should fall with the HBO Programing and Marketing Departments. This show was not marketed well at all, and they stuck the show in a horrible time slot. Given the chance it deserves, this show would be huge. Everyone exposed to it falls in love with it.
In all honesty, Carnivale is the reason that I subcribe to HBO.My husband and I have not missed an episode since the start of the series (Season One). We have shared the show with our family, friends, co-workers, and even with people that we genuinely dislike. As a result, these individuals are also hooked on Carnivale and much like us, they are devastated by the shows cancellation. It is cruel and unusual punishment for HBO to leave the loyal fans of Carnivale hanging. Surely, they can give us another season or two. Please reconsider and BRING BACK CARNIVALE!!!

I realize that not only does a show have to be renewed, but the actors and whatever contracts they signed would have to merit their return as well. That being said---AT LEAST GIVE US A 2 HOUR WRAP UP MOVIE or something. With the way that this unique show ended with Season 2---WAY TOO MUCH was left open to satisfy us loyal viewers! We must find out what happened. That is the least that could be done! :(
Carnivŕle was an amazing show that definitely deserved continuation and a fare shake in terms of air time. HBO could have made this a hit series if it had made the attempt to market the show.
I can't believe HBO would cancel such as well written show!!! This show makes television worth watching. The acting, the characters, the whole show is so wonderfully produced.

The show is the best on TV!!! It keeps you on the edge of your seat. I love it, and miss it. I have all the episodes, and watch them continuously.

I've signed a number of these, even in fear of being viwed as a "show nerd". I have a life, a very busy life. One filled with rasing my four year old, keeping up with my busy husband, keeping and planning social engagements, working full time and coaching soccer for small kids. The ONE thing I had all to myself was HBO's orginal series, "Carnivale".The show was the perfect way to distract myself from the end of the weekend to the start of another crazy week. The show is so amazing. The money at HBO could be MAKING more money by marketing Carnivale correctly. Let the intelligent, hard working people have their show back please.
Please let CARNIVALE finish telling its'story with a 3RD Season ! Don't stop production on The Sporano's or Deadwood either. They're the best programs on HBO !

Please in the name of good theatre don't abandon this show. We know it is costly to make but the results are worth your expenditure.
We are so attached to this program that I feel as if dear friends were all attacked by a financial ax murderer at the same time. We waitd so patiently for the second season to begin; we lingered over ever line, every glance, every subtle nuance. Please reconsider your decision and renew the is show we love so very much.
HBO and TV need a show like Carnivale. There is really nothing like it on television. HBO should have the courage to stay with their guns and make a stand with Carnivale.
I enjoy all the HBO shows to include HBO. By taking it off I feel HBO has lost a key show. I will now be less reluctant getting hooked on new shows (i.e. Rome) knowing that you might pull the plug before the story is over. Please consider this and the high probability that many people share my feelings.
I can not believe HBO is doing this, let us have at least a final episode, the story isn't over, but my HBO channel will be, if Carnivale doesn't at least an ending.
